Set copper cables to glass fiber cables with WorldEdit?

The glass fiber ID is 30184:9 but when i try to replace copper cables with glass fiber cables, it just says that 30184:9 is not a block.

That is the ID of the inventory item, the Block ID of cables is 228 according to the ic2 config file. No Idea what the ID of glass fiber cables is, maybe 228:9? No idea if it is even possible to replace them, so please make a backup before you try.

I can place copper cables with 228 but 228:9 just places copper cable too. And if i try to /cycler, it says the data cannot be cycled.

i got the same problem, but also with batboxes instead of mfsu, low voltage solar arrays instead of high voltage, and copper cables instead of glass fiber

worldedit cannot place blocks which are designated with damage numbers. So anything with a colon in the block ID is a no-no for worledit.

use 228:10 for the id and it works

You need to find the block's ID itself. Cables are items when held. Just like there's a difference between cakes and cake blocks.

OP: Im not sure of a fix for this; most of the stuff from IC2 never works right with plugins that change stuff (worldedit, logblock, etc)
