Kommunističeskiĭ Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I'm stuck. I added the jetpack upgrade to my powersuit chestplate but I cannot figure out how to fly it. Spacebar simply jumps. I disabled the leggings' jump assist upgrade for testing but it still doesn't fly. Do I need to press something to enable it or what? Thanks in advance. Quote
Teraku Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 You need a battery somewhere in your powersuit, since the Jetpack uses energy. Quote
Kommunističeskiĭ Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 You need a battery somewhere in your powersuit, since the Jetpack uses energy. I have third-tier batteries on all five pieces. All the other power-using upgrades work. Quote
Jono0259 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Need to have some sort of power storage installed in your armor or grab a charged redstone energy cell. Also there are adjustable sliders for your modals that you could try turning up. Quote
Kommunističeskiĭ Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 Why are you guys assuming I'm not feeding it power? Battery: (same setting on all four other pieces) Jetpack: Quote
Timendainum Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Are you turning the jetpack on? Bind the jetpack to a key using the menu found when pressing k. I usually bind the jetpack and the flight controller together. I've found that with most of the MPS functions that require you to turn them on and off will say they are on when you login, but you have to cycle them off, then on again for them to actually work. I bind my flight key to a programmable button on my mouse for easy flying action. Quote

The more I added back, the lower the max altitude. :/ Quote
Jono0259 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I used the energy shielding instead of the iron plating and i never ran into this problem. I also never tried out the glider, wonder if that is also effecting your weight or functionality of the jet pack. Quote

I set all the platings to 0 protection and I can fly higher than jungle trees with no problem. Quote
