Moderators Munaus Posted September 20, 2013 Moderators Posted September 20, 2013 Hello you i have group and we have a translation your wiki to czech but we have not got czech wiki. I please your create on your wiki transtlation and we start translation wiki. Why did you create a thread for this? There's already a thread for the Technic wiki. The question stands on Technic staff if they want to moderate and categorize different translations. Can't we all just speak english, yes?
TheBytemaster Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 From what I gather, it looks like he wants to have permission to start translating the wiki into czech.
perpetualgamer Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 One possible option is that you could just remake each page in Czech, using /cz as your page id. http://wiki.technicpack.net/cz/Main_Page you could goto the link and start the translation into Czech, then do the same for other pages. http://wiki.technicpack.net/cz/Buildcraft http://wiki.technicpack.net/cz/Thermal_Expansion Does that make any sense?
Cheap Shot Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Are you copy-pasting stuff from Google translate? Your grammar isn't impressive. Even if he is, we don't super need you to point it out. English clearly isn't a first language and your comment adds nothing to the topic.

I just wanted to know if he was using google translate, in which case there is no point in him translating the wiki, as you'd get the same result by just copy-pasing the current wiki into Google-translate. Though, re-reading my comment, I see how it easily could be taken as a pointless insult.

If he doesn't speak english then he can't proof read this post and the grammar suffers.

I've tried that method when translating stuff into swedish or english, and almost always there's some sentences that start to mean something different, even if they make grammatical sense. That's mostly from finnish though.
