Having never used it myself, I don't know much, but it extends rails and carts to run harvesters, drills, etc. along laid track (sorta train-enginey). jakalth Posted December 30, 2013 Share Posted December 30, 2013 Steve's carts is a mod involving self propelled modular minecarts. The Thermal engine is one of the engine options for steve's carts. They make nice lag free(or at least low lag) tree farms. Can also make automated crop farms, milk cows, defend your base from mobs, dig underground tunnels. things like that. NightFire661 Posted January 2, 2014 Share Posted January 2, 2014 Yeah Steves Carts is probably one of the best mods Tekkit has. Learn it, and love it. It can mine a MASSIVE 9x9 tunnel in about 30 minutes, it can farm any type of crop or tree at the same time, it can be self sufficient. And with another few patches to a current bug with Chunk loading, it can transfer liquids long distances without the need for tessaracts. WaffletimeCat Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 Yea Steve's Carts 2 is the current mod, you can make automated carts that do chores for you, kind of like minefactory reloaded machines but in a cart form, having more mobility and flexibility with tasks like drilling or even just putting down track for you. You can even make your minecart have a "Divine Shield" which is about the most boss looking thing ever which protects you when you ride it. You do need a seat to ride it though.
