AcesOyster
This forum's so serious at the moment, so I thought I'd make a quick thread for showing off your Attack of the B-Team builds. I imagine most people play on survival, but creative is welcome. To start it off: My current WIP base: http://imgur.com/FpYUQxO

arriej
Nice. Well this is what i have now: '> '> In between that 3 layers of bamboo there is quick sand. Mobs lose you when you walk trough it, Tho when thet do stick on your ass they will drown and die. Its an easy mob grinder for the loot not for the xp. It also works verywell on your friends XD in search for clay for a roof, but clay is a b*tch Edited February 8, 2014 by arriej
Brigadon
arriej, you really should experiment a bit with carpenter's blocks and chisel...it could turn an already-good structure great. especially the windows

AcesOyster
Damn, I specifically flew backwards far enough so the guides would disappear (: Really tempted to try and do a big country manor style build with the microblocks. So many things, so little time.
Brigadon
actually the giveaway was the actual guide block itself in the picture, see it? very distinctive texture.
AcesOyster
Yeah, I understood, but I wasn't going to go to those sorts of lengths. They are a fantastic tool, I have no shame =D
Brigadon
Hey, I don't blame you in the slightest, I use it too for doing curves and stuff. of course, the funky diagonals and stuff in carpenter's blocks sort of complicates things... but the default blocks make things like glass arcs a thousand times easier. Melfice
A minor necromancy: If you're still strapped for clay, go find a Badlands biome. If you're lucky, there will be enough regular clay amongst the hardened and coloured clay to last you a good while.
Rii
On a server with three friends. One chose to hide underground, another up in the sky, and then the other burrowed into a mountain. I, however, chose differently. Welcome to RiTech: '> The front lobby is modest (and I left the door open, whoops): '> Current Research specimens: '> The testing chambers are nearly operational: '> Research is going well: '> Here at RiTech we hope to continue pursuing our research on genetics.
