Multicraft Server Problems

Hey, so I've been trying to host an Attack of the B-Team server on a multicraft hosting site. When attempting to start the server, using the BTeam.jar file, my server fails to load up. My server logs mention something about missing libraries, however after re-downloading a few times nothing changes. Here are the server logs:

I guess you replaced old server files with the attack of the b team server files?

If so what was your old server jar named?

your BTeam.jar should be renamed as how your old server jar was called

As this is the startup of your server":

11.02 16:31:49 [Multicraft] Loaded config for "Mod: Custom Server"

11.02 16:31:49 [Multicraft] Starting server!
11.02 16:31:49 [Multicraft] Loading server properties
11.02 16:31:49 [Multicraft] Received start command

I think sometihng goes wrong in the multicraft config for the modded server.

Any chance you can paste the multicraft config: Custom server.

if its too big paste it here: http://pastebin.com/

no, Multicraft is loading a config for modded servers.

As you see here:

11.02 16:31:49 [Multicraft] Loaded config for "Mod: Custom Server"

Now i understand why you have to rename the jar Custom_server

So i worked never with multicraft so i am wondering what goes on that the config multicraft tries to load.

It gives me the same thing, just with a different jar title:

Have you tried this with a clean install instead of over top of your previous server files?  Has your provider offered any assistance with this? I can try to help you if you want to talk to me on skype or steam.  Also, I've see these errors occur when the server is trying to download the libs for Forge Mod Loader and they are unavailable at the time of setup.  I keep a personal copy of them but you can also get them here: http://files.minecraftforge.net/fmllibs/

However, I did a clean install for my server, through the hosting company I also work for, using Multicraft and have not had this issue.  I typcially had this though when installing Voltz on customer installs.

  • 5 months later...

I had this problem before also, Its not a hard fix hopefully for you..

Using Multicraft FTP in.

Place config, mods, hats, flans, AND LIBRARIES in the root folder. Then put libraries in the jar folder also.

Then try running it.
