TonyVS Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I had my machine hooked up with TE3 redstone conduit and all was well, except in the last two versions. none of the Galacticraft Machines are taking power anymore, anyone else having this issue? Thanks
Shawn Mullins Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 oxygen collectors and sealers on my space station visually look to be working, taking power and saying sealed. But when I take off oxygen setup I take damage and get the message invalid setup so there is some sort of issue, but I just use mystcraft books to get back and forth so I am avoiding the moon and space until the kinks are ironed out completely. The ones I had in the overworld took power when I connected them to TE conduit, but I didn't try to run any of them, was just testing if they still drained power when idle and they didn't.
matt8348 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) I haven't tried messing with Galacticraft machines yet but this problem certainly sounds like the same problem the Attack of the B-Team pack is having with the same mod. Someone using that pack "fixed" their problems by manually downgrading their Galacticraft jar in the modfolder. Edited February 20, 2014 by matt8348
TonyVS Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Yea my machines had power on upgrade of the mod, but when I run them all the power drains out and didn't refill. roll back the mod eh? hmm I upgraded cause of the RECOMMENDED version of Tekkit
Skuli Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 We are using the same build as B-Team, so yes, any Galacticraft bugs would be present here as well.
00Ducky Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Buildcraft power pipes work with galacticraft machines, It may be that galacticarft doesn't use RF.
TonyVS Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 TE3 cables convert on the fly, are you using the new 1.6.4 recommended version of tekkit? and are you getting power from a tesseract? it was my understating the buildcraft pipes could not connect to the new tesseracts
TonyVS Posted February 22, 2014 Author Posted February 22, 2014 Just a note to all this issue is now fixed in the latest Galacticraft, the power is now side sensitive, so you may need to rotate some of your machines to get them to connect. once I changed them from their original layout that did work and rotated them to the side with the red dot in the middle touching TE3 conduit they all powered up again
