Crafting Panel Bug?

Ok so I just started an Attack of the B-Team server for myself and some friends.  Everything seems to be working fine, but when I try to see the recipes of most non-vanilla items I get some gibberish text.  Please help, none of the friends on my server have this problem. http://s955.photobucket.com/user/CastingStones/media/2014-03-06_210709_zps40c9dd2b.png.html?sort=3&o=0

Open your inventory

click options in bottom left

click the top button inventory

then change "Profile Recipes"(at the bottom) to false
