My tekkit classic server (HELP)

My tekkit server originally worked fine and then one day i ran the server and the lag was unbearable.My specs are 8gb ram and quadcore processor plus my internet should well and truly be able to run the server. I recently put down about 8 world anchors but they did not seem to be the issue because it worked while they were on. Please help

Im also only getting one green bar of connection if im lucky sometimes it wont even connect

Have you tried removing the anchors just in case? Having 8 anchors on the server is like constantly having 8 players on the server, which causes lag.

I removed them and it helped alot but the main issue was a sugar cane emc generator that i left on. Cheers anyway
