NEED HELP WITH MAC PROBLEM!!!!

I have a friend who is using MAC OS X who has JAVA 6 installed. Whenever she joins my tekkit classic server, she can move around just fine. When she stops moving, she can't move anymore. She can jump and crouch and go to the options menu just fine, just not move. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have searched for a long time on this and so far, nothing has worked. I even had her go into the terminal and type this in:

 

cd Downloads

export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/Contents/Home

java -jar technic-launcher-latest.jar

 

Still no results.
