Braindawg Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Thermal Expansion basically makes Resonant Induction entirely useless, plus it's so heavily overused. Quote

gzcwnk Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 BTW, I have always loved Voltz and this version you guys and gals have put together is the best yet, by far. thankyou. Quote
gzcwnk Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) ISSUE 4 - very minor, ME drive chassis, pretty sure before (2.0.4) the slots only lit up if there was a drive in that slot, now all are green. Also they colour changed as they filled up, they now just stay green. Edited October 12, 2014 by gzcwnk Quote
gzcwnk Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 issue 5 - minor. On removing a ME access terminal occasionally the terminal disappears, nothing lying about to pick up. Quote
gzcwnk Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Issue 6 - significant Issues with forcefield not deploying, except for intermittent squares. Started off small 10 squares and expanded to 45. After about 14, radius the force field never completes (ie all the air filled squares fill with field. This seems to work ok to 25 in open spaces like the Nether so it appears there is some sort of fatal interaction going. I never saw this with 2.0.4. It maybe a "feature" but its just not possible to make a forcefield work underground anymore. (unless this is the idea?) Quote
gzcwnk Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) ISSUE 7 - minor, harvesters do not appear to harvest wheat beyond doing 1 initial square. ie will harvest the first wheat when [re-]placed then nothing. Edited October 13, 2014 by gzcwnk Quote
Braindawg Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Please tell me we already know about grindstones Quote
gzcwnk Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 ISSUE 8 - minor, standard ME cables and blue ME cables join up. I assumed that if colour coded they wouldn't do this, so I am assuming this is a bug. Quote
djoveryde Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Unless it's crashing the server or isn't working assume it's fine. Me cable I believe can be connected up together Quote
Gigeran Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Basic ME cable connects to any other cable, even color coded ones, but colored cables do not connect to each other. gzcwnk 1 Quote
gzcwnk Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 ISSUE 9 - minor strawberry plants show as unnamed. Quote
gzcwnk Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 ISSUE 10 - minor bug, mob essence, meat, sewerage and pink slime are produced probably x10 too fast if not x 20 (maybe even x100 hahahahaha). I collected 96000mb of pink slime in about 2 mins where in 2.0.4 it would take a long time. At the moment I cant make tanks fast enough to contain the output from 36cows! Gigeran 1 Quote

Gigeran Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) ISSUE 9 - minor strawberry plants show as unnamed. More pressing issue with this is that they can not be broken once the strawberry is picked unless you destroy the dirtblock beneath them, but even that one is a minor issue indeed. Gigeran Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) ISSUE 10 - minor bug, mob essence, meat, sewerage and pink slime are produced probably x10 too fast if not x 20 (maybe even x100 hahahahaha). I collected 96000mb of pink slime in about 2 mins where in 2.0.4 it would take a long time. At the moment I cant make tanks fast enough to contain the output from 36cows! Confirmed seems any Minefactory reloaded machine (Bioreactor as well) hooked to a fluiduct does this, but not if imported straight away via say a ME fluid import. Forestry machines do not seem to have this glitch alas. Edited October 19, 2014 by Gigeran Quote
Zroid56789 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 How do you add plugins to this version of Voltz? I can't find a 1.6.4 bukkitforge build, and to my knowledge bukkitforge was the only one that worked. If anyone knows, please respond! Quote
Gigeran Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 (edited) I searched long and hard for a Cauldron-1.6.4-1.965.21 build with libraries so I could launch the bukkit plugins, due to the DMCA it was hard to find, running build 89 of it. The main cauldron jar replaces the voltz jar file then and is the one you launch, the libraries go in a libraries directory in the main folder of the server. Edited October 23, 2014 by Gigeran Quote
Gigeran Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) Updated my old post with issues on page 3. Btw is anything known for voltz if it is going to switch to MC 1.7 or stay in 1.6 for the next release ? (Seen a lot of fixes for resonant induction for 1.7 hence the question and together with forestry and railcraft a really strong energy creation ore processing, transport and automated farm system) Edited November 1, 2014 by Gigeran Quote
djoveryde Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Until the UE network is released stable for 1.7.x and someone completes an icbm port to 1.7.10 then it could be considered. I'd love for it to release in 1.7.10 as that seems to be far more stable right now Quote
sjp1127 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Yesterday, December 1, 2014, the server would no longer launch. In the command prompt, it stated that fml detected non-mod files. One of them was codechickenlib. Quote
