    Thanks for the correction. I hadn't ever seen that error before and all the java I looked up pointed to a bad injection.

    Can you explain in more detail what you want. It sounds like your trying to move a SERVER Vanilla world into a single player world. Then add mods on the single player world.

    If you say you got them from the DEV's site then I believe you. The virus was not in the mod pack but as soon as I tried to run it. What ever minecraft chromium is.. that started downloading a bunch of files and thats when the virus showed up. That is the one mod I would focus on.

    Not that cant it be done.. I have a working mod pack but my mods are not current and I'm looking for a solution to migrate, which doesn't involve switching to 1.8 which has little to no mods or plugin's ready. FWIW I never got binnie to work on 1.7 and a lot of players, the bee lovers, were unhappy. I'm also not using Resonant Induction or any of the other mods in that group since it appears as the dev is gone, the pages don't work pretty much off line.

    Bumping 2hrs later is not going to get you an answer quicker. You gave the drop box link but you didn't give the mod pack link or a pastebin link .. Provide those so we may continue to support you in your efforts.

    Soon as I install your modpack I find your problem. DragonAPI will prevent Galacticraft from working properly! To fix: remove or modify DragonAPI More info: http:wiki.micdoodle8.com/wiki/compatibility Fix that and then we can move forward. Clicking ignore makes the pack shutdown, clicking quit makes the pack shutdown.

    Your mod pack has a virus in it. You need to reconfirm all the mod packs were downloaded from legitimate sources. jcef.dll was downloaded when Minecraft Chromium was downloaded. I'm deleting the mod pack, thank god for good AV systems.

    First, Linux doesn't like spaces or most special characters so using the mod files as they stand will make it so only windows users can use your modpack Second, as I go through the mods, make sure you downloaded all of these from the author or legitimate sites. Since some of them seem named funny.

    I'm looking at your modpack now but need the other two items, the original zip link and the logs from your server so we can review the files. Pull any personal information then use pastebin and post please.

    Dude, My statement still stands. Saying "it works but its broke" means it is broke. Continue to post "it works but its broke and need help to fix it" will get you no help. Sharing logs on pastebin, links to the mod pack and the zip file will. Ask for help, understand its broke, and accept the help or don't ask for it.

    Follow what plowman said for proper support, however, that being said are you sure your downloaded your mods from an approved site? [13:33:32] [main/ERROR]: There is a binary discrepency between the expected input class ahu (ahu) and the actual class. Checksum on disk is f812af2, in patch 746fe971. Things are probably about to go very wrong. Did you put something into the jar file? That says you probably didn't. Please post a link to the modpack and the original zip file for continued support.

    You say everything works then you say it continues to crash. You ask our help then say nothing is wrong it just crashes. So lets start over.. You have a problem, Plowman, who is one of the most knowledgeable on this forum, told you how to start finding the issue and fixing it, and after trying his suggestions if your still having problems be specific and we will try to help. If you continue to say "its broke but everything works" we can't help someone who won't let us.

    Please use pastebin and post whole log posts not snippets after you have made sure no personal information is in them. Please post a link to the modpack and a link to the original zip. 1) Are you using the technic launcher or some third party app such as magic launcher or one of the others. You should only be using one version and the version that matches your system (IE 32 or 64bit) Please take care of these things and then we will do our best to help you.

    Just my .02 on my first click. Most people call the zip file the same name as their modpack helps keeps things organized. Now could be wrong but I didn't think your modpack was NoName.zip Second point of interest. Linux doesn't like the way A LOT of mod authors name their files. You should remove spaces and special characters from the mods names. so no (1) or [] or anything else. Just nice neat letters and numbers with underscore or dash if you need it. Third remove forge from your MODS folder. Try those changes on for size and then if that doesn't work. I get the same error as everyone else I can't download it from the link any better than Grim_Ascensions. Hopefully someone else can see something I overlooked in your modpack file.

    He means pick the one you like and remove the other. If that doesn't work then use the other. If it still doesn't work pull both. Once you've done that and know what works and what doesn't make a decision as the mod pack author of what to keep and what not to keep.

    Please don't use colors that make it hard to read your post if you want help. Please use pastebin to post logs, after confirming no personal infornation is in them, and a link to your mod pack so we can trouble shoot with you.

    Actually your bullet 3 maybe incorrect, I didn't read his paste completely, but according to the techinc staff there is a version 1.7 of the legacyjavafix as well. I'm going to have to look into that today since I can't find a more current version of cauldron past 1217, and I need to get onto java 8. At least according to this post, http://www.technicpack.net/article/attention-modpack-authors.105, there is.

    Yes there might be those available, and no I wouldn't ask you to find them. I can say, however, the official site has pulled their down loads so it would/will take a bit of work to find it. I'm going to try the patch and hope the other 80 or so mod authors move to 1.8 sooner rather than later

    All, The post today by cannibalvox, in short summary, says upgrade to java 1.8, use the LegacyJavaFixer, or be marked nonfunctional as a mod pack. I see the mod pack as a short term solution and would like to move towards a long term solution. Does anyone have any server models/type they use other than Cauldron (formerly MCP) as the web site has take down all their downloads and refused any support except for the 1.8 future. This means any BPS patches to bring us more current are not available. Also, has anyone tried the mod patch on their server using Cauldron? The last update I got from them put me at 1217 and while I want to upgrade I was hoping the community could provide some alternative suggestions. Thanks
