Ok i've calculated a bit and i've found that golden pipes are not worth the cost as they lose 2 times the enrgy lost on the HV cables : HV , as stated by disconsented , lose 1.25 EU per block Golden conductive pipes lose 0.1% of energy per block so 0.819 MJ , as the conversion factor between MJ and EU is 2.5 EU per MJ , the loss is around 2 EU per block Redstone conduits lose 5% of energy but they are not distance-related so they'll lose around 41 MJ , that converted means around 102 EU . So i've concluded that HV cables are the best choice to transport energy on relatively short distances ( around 82 blocks ) but the redstone conduits are better on longer distances .

What's the best method , considering also cost/efficency , to transport energy over long distances without using telport pipes , enderchests or other similar devices ? -4x insulated HV cables transporting EV current ( 2048 EU/t ) to minimize the energy loss or -BC conductive golden pipes with EV current converted ( 819 MJ/t ) to minimze energy loss
  3. Sphax is actually the most complete and probaly the only one that support tekkit lite , as it offers support for nearly every mod of minecraft , asfaik other texture packs offers support to only some of the mods in tekkit .
  4. my hazmat suite seems to absorm damage even from cacti , but itwas all degradated and it wasn't destroyed , will it work even if it remains in this state of near breaking/unbreaking ?
  5. You're wrong , it's not impossible , you just have to think more to figure out how to automatically mass produce everything . An example , you want an automated factory that produce every kind of refined ore you can imagine ? Good ! Take some quarrys , or if you want a bit more of complexity a mining frame airship , set an ender chest to bring the material in your factory , put in a lot of macerators , electric furnaces , piping , automated crafting tables and set everything to process the ores , sort them , craft them in they're respective storage blocks and put them in barrels . Or you want a way to mass produce meat ? Then take some cows , a little wheat farm from forestry , some machinery from minefactory ( like the breeder , the cronotyper the grinder ... ) , piping , and set everything to automatically breed , milk , and kill cows with the automatically produced wheat and the minefactory machinery . Here you are and all of that without using even a bunch of EE .
  6. yep i dropped all the content in modpack.jar , i've tried with B4 and B6 but none of them work .
  7. it seems that optifine won't work at all with tekkit lite itself : i've tried all the older versions of tekkit lite with optifine and none of them work .
  8. same problem , and i've also tried to replace them but the next time i log in they're flipped back in that position
  9. i've tried to install optifine too , on the vanilla minecraft it works fine but on tekkit i've the same issue , the world doesn't load it stops on "building terrain" and it doesn't even show a crash screen it just stays in this state forever .
  10. you need to resolve the id conflict , just head in the forestry config and change all the 40xx numbers ( like 4091 or 4093 ) in 39xx ( like 3991 or 3993 ) works fine for me . @ the topic author : also add railcraft , gravistation suite , advanced solar panels and miscperipherals in the list , all of them work fine ( even if there's a little id conflict with gravitation suite )

  12. Yes , the batleaxe ignore some armor but it may be useful only against vanilla armor , against nanoarmor or quantum should be better to pick up the saber . For PvE the saber is the better choiche : it deals 10 hearts of damage versus the most damaging melee weapon of balkon's weapons mod , the halberd , that deals 6.5 hearts if i remeber correctly .
  13. with automatic crafting tables of course ! probably the only need are minium shards for crafting another minium stone when the first one is exahusted .
  14. actually there are a lot of ways to make infinite power in tekkit lite : solar panels , windmills are totally autonomous devices that can be used for infinite power , with a deployer , a watermill , some buckets and a basic comprension of rp2 devices and pneumatic tubes you can set up a good hydro-electric plant . Then with thermal expansion there are another few ways to make infinite power : a magma crucible runned by some magmatic motors can produce enough lava to run the magmatic motors and a geothermal generator , or if you want a bit more complexity you can set a sawmill to break a log in 6 planks , then take 4 of them and transmute them back in a log with a minium stone and repeat the process to have infinite planks to burn in a generator .

  16. uops , sorry for the bump . yes i've tryed the sides , it doesn't work , i'll try the top ... EDIT : it seems that only on the west-east sides and on the top a filter will pull in/out of the miner . I've also found that it will fill only the central slot of the miner ( the pipes slot ) and will not fill the drill slot with a drill . So i've to figure out how to make it work without filters :/

  18. I have a problem , i'm trying to add a way to retrieve the mining pipes from my miner airship whn it finish to mine so that the pipes will be automatically resent to the miner . I've put a filter that retrieve the diamond drill from the miner so the pipes start to pop out in the chest over the miner , then i've linked the filter to the same chest and i've putted another filter in contact of this chest and connected it to the miner to refill the miner with the missing drill and the pipes . I've also separated the 2 routes of pipes so they don't merge in a single route . But , and here comes the problem , when i try to refill the miner the filter won't work . It seems to not accept the miner as a valid inventory . Any idea ?
