i use to be one of those people, basic solar pannels and macerating, i hated on Redpower becuase i thought it was too much like buildcraft and ic2. Things have changed having a server has really opend my eyes to some of the AMAZING things the other mods can make.

i am reasonable, well semi reasonable. (add evil face here) the only reason i dont like collectors is how god dam fast they are. i know i have said this before but i am just restating me point but i think it went under the radar. Single player collectors are good and damn helpful, they are not on for 24hours when they make like 25million (charge an omega star) but public servers they are just as good as asking a moderator for a stack of 20 diamonds, one for each hour this server was online.... I am making (just finished) a cake farm, all without EE or EMC in anyway, one of the other players on my server finished it in 1 hour mine took 1 day (if i put in hard work to it) EE can make mass production too easy. I Really love the rings, they can make stuff ALL the more fun, the harvest band in my farm works wonders! SWIFT WOLF I LOVE THE. and the black hole dupe glitch :P

i thought that ALL items had 2 IDS a block id (when in the world and inv). but i am happy to be proven wrong

well we will see. so far so good, i could never get turtles to do the program told anyway. besides, its the item on the ground that would change (possibly not the one in the inv)

my best mate is like that, i told him next tekkit update, i might ban collectors on my server and that he has to learn ic2 or something. He started to learn it, taking a bit of time, mainly copys me. just to make uu-matter into glowstone for high emc. once a magician always a magician as he says. Atleast he is trying....

still, on a 24 hour server world anchors and a collector can do that in, well i haven't done the sums but its really quick. like 1 collector connected to a condenser over my weekend made 3 stacks of diamonds. and your trying to tell me it doesnt make things easy. people on my server are making Automatic farms and stuff, EE collectors take 90% of the fun and pain you go through to set up a quarry or a blockbreaker/deployer setup. But you know, everyone is entitled to what they want to think. even if its wrong in the eyes of someone else.

I agree, i hosted a small-ish scale private server, 10 people. once someone makes one collector and a world anchor they are set for life. instant diamonds. I love some of the rings in EE, maybe the ability to fly, MAN thats awesome, walk on water thats good to. The best way, i can think of, to balance EE is to have people BUY the red matter and the EE fuels, then they can BASIC transmute (transmutation tablet & klien star) for more if you want to use up your diamonds. Then craft rings and armor, therefore not making it AS op but still god damn useful.

i just changed the ID of turtles to 300 and let the server run again. this time removing some players inv, but that was a quick fix. Thanks for your help, but all is good now.

why would that happen i have been running this EXACT server for 3months now, i havent changed anything in the last month. any clues why it would just try chance ID value?

correct me if i am wrong, but dont Alchemy bags change by player too? so if a friend and i BOTH have a blue bag, we see different items.

direwolf, i inspire to make a lets play like his. He shows and teaches me a lot about technic. Yogscast, i use to love them then they had the falling out with Notch, then i realised how they were drama queens. and that more then half of their stuff is scripted.

well my server WAS lagging a lot, that message was every 3 seconds. now i get it every 5minutes I have now fixed the problem, it had nothing to do with the set-up of the server. One of my players had made 2 quarries 50x50 in size RIGHT next to each other, i removed both of them and fixed all the lag. Thanks for trying guys. but i got this

Running a Server: 7.8 - currently having troubles with tekkit and bugs Playing Tekkit: 6.7 i know how to use IC2, Buildcraft and EE. but not really any other the other mods but mircoblocks

I had very simular problem on my server. make sure that your server isnt lagging at all then if thats not the problem turn the server off for at least 1 hour. It worked for me.

Its legit google i was doing work in class when this happened to me.... i am using google chrome and i am on a mac (lion) i am guessing it might be because i was on it before, and its my 2nd most visited page

Was just casually using google as you do each day when i noticed that the google simbol was Cheep Shotss face!!! See for yourself. I didnt do anything to cause this to happen (that i know of) it only happned to me, i got my mate to see if it was him too but nothing. Is it my cookies? am i spending too much time on this site? OMG!!!!!

I am not really understanding what you are trying to say, about the disk IO. if you are trying to say its something to do with the formatting of the HDD on the server, then thats nothing i can go and change (its my schools servers) Turns out, i incorrectly posted about the server ITS A WINDOWS SERVER so there is no /var/log/messgaes. We (me and the scholl technician) tried doubling the ram put into the server, no help. any more ideas?

well then its not the game for you. You can still do it, but your XP, sort of like respect points you can spend, will go down. OHHH, also i forgot to add the campaign you get to play as a Cop and as a Gang member-sort-of-guy

Sleeping Dog, its like GTA (if thats what your interested in) but, not to sound rasist, an asian feel. Its set in Hong Kong and is very simular to GTA with some minor differences that improve gameplay a lot. Like running over people costs you XP unlike i GTA where it is ok to do that sort of thing.

Love this project so much. I am currently running it on my server, works like a charm. The only thing i would like to ask is if it is possible to have Iron Chest Mod Support and RedPower Machines support too. A huge number of my players use Crystal chests and similar and they are not affected by world guard, same with Alloy Furnaces and such.
