You can: - place up to 25 different note books on the left side of the writing desk so it quite easy to sort the pages by type into different slots. - use the middle mouse button click to to sort aplhabetically within a notebook. - place a note book in the empty slot on the right of the writing desk to place new pages made by righclicking them on the left side automatically in it. (only thing anyoing here is that you can drag and drop existing pages from the left to the right) - take a note book an right click with it to get a chest-like interface allowing you to order your pages - take a filled note book and left klick the space in the binder where the pages go to place the pages inside in exactly the same order in the binder. The only thing I miss is that there should be more tooltips and they should be a bit more descriptive (like what modifiers a page accepts or what type this page is).

i use a white hopper, behaves like a 4 space chest but automaticly outputs to the machine below.

It is actually required by the law to do something like this or enforce strict rules what is allowed in the chat or to build in game - the higher the age requirement the less restrictions Need to be made... The First Option is far easier done than the later, it protects equaly well from overly protective parents with loose lawyers ;-) Thought normaly it is used to ensure to keep the chat and envoriement on a certain level. -
I dont see where your problem is. There isnt much to sort unless you add a lot of modifiers and even that can be handeld quite easy if you dont try to sort in the binder or the writingdesk. Right now you have a quite powerfull tool to write dimensions. Making it easier would either require to have less options or a multitude of pages making ist impossible to find the ones you want. Writing this post was more fiddlesome than writing a stable age - ok, maybe that's behause I'm writing on an iPad that's trying to autocorrect every word I type to a German word it thought i tried to type ;D

Yeah that solves the mining problem. Thought the problem with the Plasma Cannon will even apear if you wear a blank power armor helemt. Gets worse with more modules in the helm but even with a none I get some problems getting it to start the charging.
-
Edit: Before you try the suggestion a bit deeper: Are you using a textrue pack? If yes, try to rename it and start the game again. If this fixes your problem it problalby realy is a problem with you graphic drivers. Else: Seems the Problem is a bit deeper down the road: if updating you gaphic driver didn't help you can try if this guide is some help for you: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/a/ntdlldll.htm

Actually, you do not only see the effect, i keeps aborting the charge up and starts from the beginning. Something in the helmet seems to interfere with everything else the power suit wants to do - I thought I was the only one with that problem but seems it is a legit bug.
-
Then lets try this next: also, open your task manager and tell me what stand in the foot line behind "physical memory", or better, make a screenshot of the tab performance (4th tab if it called differently) and post it here.

ok, lets make an easy test. restart your computer - close any programm that may auto start - and than launch the server, does this bring up the same error?
-
change the value back to at least 2G better 4G. I'm running a server for only me and one friend right now and it goes up to over 2 gig RAM when we both are on.

Let me just say one word: "Radium" Its quite funny what they all did with it when it was discovered and Fallout pretty much tell us everything about the 1980's ideas of nuclear power we need to know. But yeah, today the generall idea is too get rid of them as they are seen to negatively by the general public which right now is nearly as hilarious as the ideas of the 1980's ^^

you need to power both the collector and the distributer from the correct side or it won't work (those 4.0 kilo joules and 120 voltz you state how much it will use), same goes for the oxygen pipes.

IGN: Lagnalok AGE (14+) 25 Tekkit experience? if any: about 2 months tekkit, some tekkit clasic, a bit less tekkit lite, tekkit new frontiers from release on (a legit private smp run by me and a friend and some tesing in ssp + cheats) Did you read the rules: Nope -
be sure the power gets input from the correct side (opposit side where the fuel pipe needs to connect) and if it is, place the rocket on the pad, open the interface of the fuel loader and hit "load fuel". If that doesn't work (or it is greyed out) what does the satus in this interface say?
-
neither is it 1980's where everyone thought nuclear power ist the solution to everything, right now most countries are trying to get rid of their nuclear power plants ;-)
-
Well if we talk about ic2 tekkit lite reactors you can have something similar: Take a liquid tesseract and after setting a frequence/channel put a magmatic engine on each of its sides (pointing outwards). There you go, looks nice and imposing, has the same size as an IC2 6-chamber reactor and an output of 24 MJ/t, enough to power a factory of at least 6 machines - which is about the same a safe and efficient reactor from tekkit lite. or make them point inwards towards an energy tesseract (takes even less space due to being able to run all tubes inside the 3x3x3 space): Heck, you could even place Sludge Boilers below the floor and get a radation like effekt when getting close to it xD

Right, totaly forgot about computercraft this will make a lot of things easier. Thank you :-)

Oh BC energy piepes normaly do resolve infinity loops on their own, most of the time together with parts of your Base ;-)

Don't have sound at the moment so i can't tell if it's any good: And here's the wiki entry for it: http://minecraftbuildcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Hopper -
I'm wondering about that too, tested it for another thread and din't seem to find/see any metors falling on the moon... could be a bug. Mystcraft metors are something different thought, trust me you don't want them dropping on you ;-)
-
Joules is the BuildCraft energy and that is verywell included, Termal Expansion even has its own generator also producing joules (MJ = mega joule). I think you mixed that up with EU (energy unit) which is from Industrial Craft ;-)

yeah didn't find any mod that has a ready to go wireless redstone in this tekkit. Thought if you realy need it there are two ways you can do a wireless redstone signal: 1st way: (Not sure if this works with forge): Using commandblocks and the scoreboard funktions: 2nd way: Using item tesseracts sending a item to the destination and some sort of item detection to switch a toggle latch or something the like.

checkd it out on my ssp testing world: - had no problems getting safly to space: did you overly stear while launching? - no meteors so far - as for the air bubble being stuck at 66.6%: see below. I tested around with the air collecters and bubble distribute a bit: 1 collector @ 21% (1 tree) = 1 distributer @ 66.6% or 2 distributer at 37%/33% 1 collector @ 33% (2 trees) = 1 distributer @ 66.6% or 2 distributer at 37%/33% 1 collector @ 56% (3 trees) = 1 distributer @ 66.6% or 2 distributer at 37%/33% 1 collector @ 74% (4 trees) = 1 distributer @ 66.6% or 2 distributer at 37%/33% 1 collector @ 100% (5 trees) = 1 distributer @ 66.6% or 2 distributer at 37%/33% 2 collector @ 21% (1 tree) = 1 distributer @ 100% or 2 distributer at 70.8%/66.6% 2 collector @ 32% (2 trees) = 1 distributer @ 100% or 2 distributer at 70.8%/66.6% 2 collector @ 54% (3 trees) = 1 distributer @ 100% or 2 distributer at 70.8%/66.6% 2 collector @ 71% (4 trees) = 1 distributer @ 100% or 2 distributer at 70.8%/66.6% 2 collector @ 100% (5 trees) = 1 distributer @ 100% or 2 distributer at 70.8%/66.6% (both collectors using the same trees) so the oxygen system right now cares only how much collecters and distributers are in the same system... 3 collectors = 1-2 distrbuters @ 100% / 3 distributers @ 66-70% uhg 7 magmatics are needed to fully power the 3:3 setup, they take quite a bit energy

Got this + IC2 + forestry + project bench = win
Lagnalok replied to dwfmagik's topic in Tekkit Discussion
I'd say TE is 'cleaner' - in any way I can think off to boot - and when you compare it to IC2 not upgraded tier 1 machines it's actually faster. Nothing stops you from setting up several machines to do the same job and I think -I didn't do the math- with the same resource investment and space to work with booth IC2 and TE should be able to process about the same amount of materials. -

The white hoppers are meant to be used as an internal storage extension for machines while the dark one (vanilla hopper) is meant as a means of transportation. The white hoppers are going to be renamed to chute when tekkit update to the 1.5.2 version of BuildCraft.
