UU-matter will let you make bones, but...otherwise, you're kind of stuck with EE for large amounts of it. No, spawners will not spawn mobs unless a player is within a certain distance.

I'm genuinely surprised this thread lasted as long as it did. There's a small scale recruitment thread in both the Tekkit Classic and Tekkit Lite areas. Please use that for recruiting, or start a nice server thread and use that. We don't want the general discussion or server help sections getting extremely cluttered with server-specific threads.

Can't resist double-posting, can we? Hint: this is a very common bug. Go look in the bugs section appropriate to the mod pack. Or just use the search bar to find the problem.

There was one in Tekkit Classic General (used to be Tekkit General SMP). I just duplicated it in the Tekkit Lite. There may be more added in Voltz or HSM discussion if it seems warranted.

All you have here is OS, processor, and RAM. There's no mention of hard drive (not as important) or video card (very important). Also, you're on a laptop, albeit a Toshiba, and those never perform as well as an equivalent desktop in my experience. Nevertheless, more info is needed for advice to be given.

Only with a custom mod pack, and the biggest issues will be world generation, ID conflicts, and the power source you choose to use. I simply wouldn't do it, and haven't seen it done, mostly due to the complexity of such an attempt.

Very well, I will get involved. There's a Mod Packs section of the forums now. At the bottom is a selection of Bugs sections. Click on one. There's a button at the top that says "Submit a Bug Report". This is not difficult stuff.
