Ash, you're borderline spamming. A link to the thread is sufficient, along with a suggestion as to which question to look at. OP: We need more info. Figure out how to fill out the report form completely, if necessary by looking at other bug reports. That's something you should have been doing anyway.

Bots are not appreciated. Neither is helping people that refuse to help themselves the tiniest bit. OP: You likely have two distinct problems. 1) You have Norton. Unless configured correctly, it likes to block both downloads and updates. 2) It's likely that your Advanced Machines add-on for IC2 is broken. I recommend a reinstall, which is not something I do extremely often.

There is a 95% or greater chance that Zone Alarm is your issue. Disable it or add an exception for the launcher before attempting to install.

Minecraft is the game. Technic/Tekkit are modifications of the game. If you don't have a game, you can't play the mods.

There are three - the two you mentioned, and the ones that stop being stupid after a little while because, after the initial "lashing", they actually think before posting.

Tekkit loads only 10 mods ???? and everyone is ignoring this ??? Why ???
Torezu replied to L4UR155's question in Tekkit Classic
OP: Mods not being loaded is almost always an indicator of antivirus misbehavior. If you're using AVG, McAfee, Norton, or a couple of others, it would be best to temporarily disable them while an update or installation is being done. So, do you have one, what is it, and did you disable it or add an exception as recommended? -
These muture people you speak of - they exist in your head.

OP (and anyone else curious): MoC is installed like this: 1) Get the files the OP listed, making sure they're 1.2.5 compatible. 2) Put the CustomMobSpawner and the MoCreatures file in the mods folder as .zip files. 3) Open the GUIApi file with an archival tool like 7zip, and copy its contents into the modpack.jar file for your mod pack. I know for a fact that 3.6.2 works in both Technic and Tekkit, though you need a bukkit-ported version of the server for it to work. That installs by simple copy, and all the clients must be installed as above. I have not tried 3.7.1 because I stopped hosting my own server.

It got reported. Also, this particular spam thread here only smells like good spam because TMoM removed the links.

I still manage a couple dozen a day. Post count doesn't particularly matter on this board, and I'll be more active when I have time. I haven't seen (too much) overstepping yet, so I think you're fine.

Work got substantially busier. Plus the endless wave of threads from people that clearly hadn't tried to help themselves even the slightest little bit made me want to ban them all, which I know would be a bit of an overreaction. I basically have time for 30-60 minutes of foruming a day, and that includes reading. I don't post a ton.

Can someone tell me how to remove collectors from my server

Next time just report it. -
Which .NET Framework? You'll want 3.5, I believe. I don't think 4 does it. *Disclaimer: I just jumped in this conversation for the heck of it.

Ah... I think it says "Off Topic"

What's your excuse for double-posting after being warned not to? No, only 3 of them are yours. The other's Mooseman's. It happened already. Since you didn't say by tomorrow...please submit video.

I think you don't know what you're doing and should quit while you're ahead.

I think your sarcasm detector is broken, which is a bit ironic.

We could give you another achievement: "Banned for worst sarcasm" if you want.

[NOOB-QUESTION]Difference: Cover - Panel
Torezu replied to TheEisbaer's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
A Cover is half the thickness of a Panel, meaning you can make twice the Covers by cutting Panels in half again. The only place it makes a difference that I am aware of, other than aesthetics, is when they're used with Support Frames. Covers make things fall off, while Panels make them stick. That's kind of critical to building anything resembling a working airship. -
