Tekkit Classic has it's own section. >_>
In upcoming versions of Buildcraft there's a new block called the "floodgate" that does exactly what you are looking for. Just sayin'.
Copy the download link from 1.3.9 into your url bar, and change the 9 to a 13 before pressing enter. Alternatively, click the download link on the Let's Test thread in Big Dig discussion.
It's a wonderful place full of the most hilarious threads that the mods wished to preserve for posterity. You should go and sheck it out, there's some great stuff in there!
Well, it is a bit different. He was adressing you, as it doesn't automatically say who he is talking to. The line is a bit fuzzy but it is there.
True dat.
As I understand it, the ComputerCraft Wireless RedNet allows computers to broadcast messages to eachother, and the Wired modems/cables function in the same manner.
The MineFactory Reloaded RedNet cables function like RedPower 2 Bundled cables, and ComputerCraft includes an API to access all 16 channels of the cables through 1 connection.
So essentially I'm saying it would be easiest to use analog wired redstone cables as opposed to Computercraft networking. That's how I'd do it.
I don't know, I'd have to look into it.
I'd like to clarify the difference between the MFR cables and the ComputerCraft wireless network. Both are called RedNet, but in my post I was referring to the former.
The easiest way I can think of to do what you want is MFR RedNet cabling. Theoretically speaking, all you'd have to do is tell each computer to control a specific color channel, and the monitor computer would know which color corresponds to each function. In the latest Tekkit there's a RP2 Bundled Cable like API for the RedNet.
NO! If there's one thing CJ would hate more than Railcraft in Tekkit, it's a modified version of Railcraft in Tekkit. Please, let's not even go there!!!! =O
I'm excited for OpenBlocks, though. It's a distinct posibility.
An admin is able to close this, but they won't. Why would they?
I'm sorry that we aren't experts. All users should have a complete technical knowledge of everything they do, I agree. I'm sure I speak for the whole community when I say: We are sincerely sorry.
Mkay. It didn't look like it but I believe you.
It's against the rules. And it is entirely unnecessary as your username is already on your post in two places.
Well, if that's the whole crash report the only thing I can think of is: Do you have MMMPS and Optifine?
