  1. I'm curious as to what jakerally hoped to accomplish. Was he expecting some sort of action, or was he just sharing?
  2. Tekkit Classic has it's own section. >_> In upcoming versions of Buildcraft there's a new block called the "floodgate" that does exactly what you are looking for. Just sayin'.
  3. Copy the download link from 1.3.9 into your url bar, and change the 9 to a 13 before pressing enter. Alternatively, click the download link on the Let's Test thread in Big Dig discussion.
  4. It's a wonderful place full of the most hilarious threads that the mods wished to preserve for posterity. You should go and sheck it out, there's some great stuff in there! Well, it is a bit different. He was adressing you, as it doesn't automatically say who he is talking to. The line is a bit fuzzy but it is there. True dat.
  5. As I understand it, the ComputerCraft Wireless RedNet allows computers to broadcast messages to eachother, and the Wired modems/cables function in the same manner. The MineFactory Reloaded RedNet cables function like RedPower 2 Bundled cables, and ComputerCraft includes an API to access all 16 channels of the cables through 1 connection. So essentially I'm saying it would be easiest to use analog wired redstone cables as opposed to Computercraft networking. That's how I'd do it.
  6. Not entirely true. You can have 16 with MFR RedNet cables.
  7. Forntonio, you should have tried harder.
  8. Meh, he didn't go wild. I don't think a bad attitude is exciting enough for the box.
  9. OpenBlocks and Dimensional Anchors are a higher priority.
  10. I don't know, I'd have to look into it. I'd like to clarify the difference between the MFR cables and the ComputerCraft wireless network. Both are called RedNet, but in my post I was referring to the former.
  11. Familiars API and RPG Inventory don't have 1.5 versions available. Are you going to want a server?
  12. The easiest way I can think of to do what you want is MFR RedNet cabling. Theoretically speaking, all you'd have to do is tell each computer to control a specific color channel, and the monitor computer would know which color corresponds to each function. In the latest Tekkit there's a RP2 Bundled Cable like API for the RedNet.
  13. That's news to me. My bad.
  14. NO! If there's one thing CJ would hate more than Railcraft in Tekkit, it's a modified version of Railcraft in Tekkit. Please, let's not even go there!!!! =O I'm excited for OpenBlocks, though. It's a distinct posibility.
  15. Bummer. I get 10FPS with Lite shaders in vanilla, so I don't play with them myself.
  16. I should have time to finish after school today. So far.
  17. An admin is able to close this, but they won't. Why would they? I'm sorry that we aren't experts. All users should have a complete technical knowledge of everything they do, I agree. I'm sure I speak for the whole community when I say: We are sincerely sorry.
  18. Nah, what I've done so far (Been testing in MultiMC) has worked fine with Optifine. Definitely do not recommend it, though.
  19. Oh, I thought you said it was going away forever. Phew!
  20. Sure, I'll see if I can throw that together for you. There is already a thread for this though.
  21. That video is seriously cool. Unofficial trailer, right there! :D
  22. Try removing optifine.
  23. I didn't even know they were a thing. Sounds very useful!
  24. Mkay. It didn't look like it but I believe you. It's against the rules. And it is entirely unnecessary as your username is already on your post in two places. Well, if that's the whole crash report the only thing I can think of is: Do you have MMMPS and Optifine?
  25. That doesn't look like the full crash report. Post the whole thing please. Never, never do this.
