There's a guy here on the forums (dunno if he's still working on it) building a recreation of the original FTB map, with ComputerCraft instead of EE2... looked amazing. I hope it comes out.

Hexxit sounds like the ideal modpack for you. A huge part of Hexxit is adventure, and it works best with small groups communicating via some sort of talking (not in game chat) and has loads of dungeons and vanilla-style items. (as opposed to machines and computers like Tekkit) Unfortunately, like most other ways of playing Minecraft, you'll have to give yourselves the quests and goals.

I think the spy lab is probably the coolest part of this mod.

I think the limit for conduits is 1K MJ/t per connection, but the conduits themselves have no limit. I've also heard that the max for tesseracts is 100MJ/t.

But thats the thing, the Conductive pipes in the latest buildcraft don't explode. They're completely revamped and are actually decent now.

According to the MCF forum post its a faster weaker sword.

There was the mod Electric Expansion that added loads of different cables. The author discontinued it, but another mod has come out for Minecraft 1.6 which adds them back in.

Umm, I guess? I've never played Bioshock. My Idea was based on my 8th grade teacher's brother in college for architecture's conceptual design for a modular floating (ocean) city, but sure. Bioshock.

It would be cooler if you designed your city to move in multiple pieces! You could even redesign it to be rearrangeable! :D
