it might be because you have the minecraft.jar along side all of the natives in the modpack zip file. -
There is an edit button, ya know.
-
I would try tossing Mo' creatures as it is the first mod that failed to load.
-
you say "OS: Windows 8" but, the crash report says "Operating System: Windows XP (x86) version 5.1". anyway, it looks like one of the configs broke. just redownload the pack.

it won't open because it is from a "unknown developer"
TwoTails replied to jalen's question in Tekkit Lite
ok, I thought it would have the same result it would have in Windows. -

Thats what he means (I think) when he says "Tekkit" he means the Technic launcher. He can't open it because who ever set up his PC made it so I couldn't run unverified programs. -

last time I used a Mac, it didn't have one. though, it was OSX Mountain Lion. so, unless they changed it, (I doubt it) it won't have one. -
I some how did this while trying to get the Half-Life 2 maps to work in Portal 2.
-
"Unexpected error"? I don't think you can fix it by the way the crash report looks... sorry dude, but I think you will have to trash the world.
-
I've seen this bug before... but, it was not with TConstruct... I don't think there is a way to fix it.
-
Please goto "C:\Users\Ülker Akkuzu\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\hexxit\crash-reports\" and give us the file "crash-2014-01-12_00.52.27-client.txt" please.

you do realise that Forge goes into the server jar file?
-
yeah, I derped. it still runs on the source build used by Portal 2, though.
-
If the launcher becoming a part of the CurseForge client is true, then FtB can go fuck them selfs. It will be sad too, as I was a good part of the comunity. (*couldn't keep strait face*) Yeah fuck right, I posted 2 things on there: A bug report on Direwolf20 (1.5) and something calling Slowpoke an asshole. guess who got banned? I still like FtB, but I HATE CurseForge.

Half-Life: Source has no texture updates. it's just HL1 in Source, so it should not lag. There is only 2 reasons I can think of getting it if you have HL1: 1. Half-Life Deathmatch: Source. yes, A dead muti-player game that comes with any payed copy of HLS. 2. Garry's mod. it's in source, so you can play with the assets in Gmod.
-
did you change the version number in the pack info?
-
by default, it's 2 seconds. and you can't use Optifine, Hexxit has TConstruct.
-
I will, but I want to beat HL:S before I play the HD version.
-
no its not. I was talking about Half-Life: Source. when you buy it, it comes with Half-Life Deathmatch: Source. The newer games have their own exe. like Portal 2, CS:GO if I remember right, Ailen swarm, Dino D-Day, The Stanely Parable, and some others.
-
the open the console, and then download the pack and see what it says.

I love that game and it sequels! I haven't play the true original or it's DLCs, but I have played the Source remake of it. (witch for some reason, it installs under \Half-Life 2\hl1\)
