  11. "move the mod's jar file over to your regular instance" that wouldn't be the case. this guy has his mod in the modpack.jar along with a modded version of a old forge 1.5.2 build.

      Generally I'd assume that would fall under bumping. Generally double+ posting is frowned upon, so I'd probably just edit your last post to be safe.

  18. Half-Life 3 will most likely come after VALVe finishes the "Source 2" game engine. as Half-Life was the relese of "GoldenSource", Half-Life 2 was the relese of "Source". (technicly Counter-Strike: Source was, but it runs off of hl2.exe so...) so, it wouldn't surprise me if Half-Life 3 what the relese game of "Source 2" (edited this post to avoid double posting) It turns out that what "sourcegameexe.exe" the game uses doesn't matter. look: That is me running "Half-Life: Source" from "portal2.exe" using a batch file I made with these codes: "portal2.exe -game hl1 -console -dev"
  19. remove industrialcraft-2_1.117.921.jar from your mods folder and try again.
  20. no, you have to set up TechnicSolder and then set the modlist. but, you could just make a list of the mods in the main post it TechnicSolder is not an option.
  21. you have to have a really good grafix card to run shaders.
  22. anyone play SMOD? if you haven't, then it's just like HL2 with more weapons and things to do. that patch I linked needs HL2 and the LostCoast and Deathmatch DLCs. I haven't gotten a chance to play SMOD yet, because the crappy moddb download servers are making a 308MB package take 3 hours to download. or so it says as I am writing this. {edit} after trying soooooooo damn hard, I just can't get it to work. then I find out it's based on Source SDK 2006. and then I got pissed off. Damnit VALVe, why did you break the 06 sdk...
