  1. it came up briefly in another thread, which I ain't going to find for you. Apparently Canvox is working on it. Can't tell you anything more than that.
  2. Yeah, but Tinker's isn't exactly hard to access.
  3. It's an aspect of the weather mod I believe.
  4. Current bug, being worked on as quickly as possible I believe. It's been talked about elsewhere.
  5. So, Minecraft is not particularly good at bunching its data up before sending packets to the client. A large number of TCP connections suggests the server is sending a large number of individual bits of data, of course. It sounds to me like someone is flying very fast, and loading in huge numbers of chunks very quickly. Have you considered doing what the B-Team guys did and using chunk loading programs to pre-generate the terrain?
  6. as in, that GUI that's accessed by pressing the tab that looks like a Diamond chestplate, where you equipped the knapsack in the first place. Perhaps this didn't fix your bug, but it fixed mine.
  7. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I was fairly certain MC doesn't multithread at all. Thus, the idea that one CPU core is at 100% would not be a great surprise, surely? What processors are your servers running? Because it may just be terrain generation, for example, causing these spikes. Minecraft, even just vanilla, is an intensive game.
  8. If you look around, you can find the original config for CofH. Copy the ore generation parts out of that into your config file. Voila. If I'm not mistaken, GB himself tweeted out the original config's settings for exactly this reason.
  9. Does anyone know what system the numbers the morph mod config refers to keys by are from? 1 esc 41 ' or ~ 26 [ 27 ] 14 bs 28 rtn Thanks!
  10. Yeah, I feel the limitation here is time. Writing comprehensive knowledge articles is a long job. Formatting them with crafting table images and game pictures is even longer. Furthermore a huge number of the mods are wikiless. For the vast majority the best information available is from the Minecraft forums. If someone started a wiki up, then sure, I'd contribute, but it'll never get to a standard that is any better than the wikis already out there.
  11. Yeah, it happens. I find it reappears if you change to the tinker's armour GUI for a second/
  12. It's tinker's I believe - only from a distant stirred memory... may be totally wrong
  13. strongboxes are much more expensive, and much smaller. Endernium is the only strongbox of reasonable size, and it's still tiny, not to mention needing shiny metal.
  14. am i right in thinking Iron chests don't have persistent inventory? In which case I unflinchingly approve.
  15. Probably means the cast isn't filled. Due to the need to accept nuggets and berries, you can have casts that are very near to full, but need just a little bit more, for example if you used 17 ore berries. Possibly this?
  16. oh, that is interesting Ender. I can't think of any reason the information and lore on the blocks would be missing too... I assume you've tried deleting the pack in your technic folder and redownloading? Obviously backup saves first
  17. yeah, they definitely exist - I use them all the time. Perhaps if people could put up some basic info about how much RAM their client is set to, their JRE version, graphics settings, and any additional mods they have installed/disabled, we might find the common link. RAM: 4GB JRE: 7 update 45 - 64bit Fancy, Adv. openGL on, I have the Darwin mod disabled. I also have "disable overriding blocks"=true in the chisel config. Any other relevant information I am missing?
  18. There are definitely ways to generate infinite power, but it;s unlikely you'll need that sort of supply anyhow, given that there's no quarrys for gregtech stuff to suck your system dry.
  19. Yeah, I understood, but I wasn't going to go to those sorts of lengths. They are a fantastic tool, I have no shame =D
  20. I believe the problem is that the absorber does not have a visible internal tank, as far as the forge liquids coding is concerned. Regardless, a TE portable tank underneath definitely works, and is very cheap to produce.
  21. Have you tried cycling minecraft's graphics settings? Or are you maybe all using optifine? It looks to me like a rendering error specific to your system, given that neither myself nor Brigadon can recreate it at all.
  22. It is in the pack, if you've updated to the latest version.
  23. I have a TE portable tank directly underneath my XP drain and that works perfectly
  24. Damn, I specifically flew backwards far enough so the guides would disappear (: Really tempted to try and do a big country manor style build with the microblocks. So many things, so little time.
