oh just hid one post before I saw yours... double-checked and noticed his was a zombie causing the crash... so perhaps not relevant to this beta build?

All issues belong in the Tracker. Especially issues involving the game crashing on you Read and follow the Tracker Rules and Guidelines

putting this in spoilers so not to ruin the fun for anyone not wanting to know. scarab gems are rare, you'll get it from mining fossil ores. But it's a very rare drop.

You posted why Big Dig wasn't updated, on the server section. Server section is only for server post advertisement, that's why your thread got deleted. As for your Big Dig question: If the mods aren't updated the pack wont be updated. That goes for all packs, on any launcher.

You can search for each mod individually and create the pack yourself for whichever MC version you want, nobody is stopping you
