it's not a matter of public opinion, if Technic could update the pack they would. there's a third person whose involved in Voltz and he/she hasn't updated it. there's a discussion going on behind the scenes so we have to wait until the dust settles before we declare anything dead.

the launcher crashes during sign in? the log should tell that it crashes, but I don't see any errors. Did you post that log directly after you attempted to log in?

you can't change RAM outside of the launcher. atleast, not to my knowledge - that wouldn't help anyway since the launcher doesn't require the RAM, it's the game itself that needs it. I'm running low on ideas...

gameplay issues belong in Bug Reports. Always include the log from a pastebin site with your report

the launcher should still run, even if the RAM was running low during gameplay. what about a firewall? The launcher goes through the internet to contact Mojang's auth servers to authenticate your Minecraft / Mojang account. It could be possible that your firewall suddenly blocks it. In such a case, you need to make the launcher an exception through the firewall

do you have any aggressive antivirus installed? McAffee or Norton have been known to block the launcher without telling the user

java 8u60 is the latest from Oracle. when you're home, check if you have any antivirus installed. Norton is infamous around here to block the launcher.

I get that StaticLoggerBinder everyday and my modpacks run just fine Sebo. So that's not it SLF4J: Failed to load class "org.slf4j.impl.StaticLoggerBinder". Zusby, run a Technic pack once, let it fail and then post a new log onto pastebin

"newest" java doesn't tell me what version it is. What java version do you have? have you tried right-clicking the launcher and chose the "Run as administrator"?

technelogia-4-lite is this the pack you attempted to play, or were there others? Do any of Technic modpacks - Tekkit, Hexxit, Attack of the B-team - work?
