    you haven't played vanilla multiplayer before. IPs don't appear automatically when you choose multiplayer, you need to add the IP from a server manually

    why are you asking us? If you're buying a monthly membership to a server then surely the server staff should be held responsible for any and all issues that may arise for connecting to it? If they aren't responding or have no contact details whatsoever then perhaps you should play on a server that doesn't demand any kind of monthly fees?

Tracker is the real deal, use it!

    if the modpack fails to download or wont even reach the Mojang screen; post a report on the Tracker at launcher subsection. Read the Tracker Rules and Guidelines to know how

    the mod has been discontinued from updates. Frizzil stated on his page at minecraftforums http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/wip-mods/1438939-1-2-3-hack-slash-mine-livestreaming-to-1-7 that he will update it to 1.7 MC, but after that it's out of his hands as he's busy doing other stuff.

    once you downloaded the techniclauncher.exe and double-click it, it should ask you with a pop-up window if you want it installed on the default location (C drive) or another location. did you not receive such message?

    "User Name" -> Library -> Application Support -> techniclauncher the launcher should install there automatically, unless you tell it otherwise
