    Accusing anyone without proof is not allowed here and even with proof, there's little this forum or this thread can do if the hacker has half a brain to use he probably uses webproxy to change his IP

    if your friend can log into your account with your credentials on his computer, then I think the issue is not the launcher but your computer's security settings. Do you have an antivirus? Which one? Firewall? Does it allow techniclauncher through? Any webproxy installed?

    always post logs so we can pinpoint the problem Error logs can be found when clicking the Cog-Wheel button on the top right corner on the launcher window. If you can't open the launcher the logs can also be found inside %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> logs Paste the content on pastebin.com or paste.ubuntu.com and give the link.

    ask the modpack author, not us without a log nobody can help you If Technic's packs don't work ( Hexxit, Tekkit, Attack of the B-team) then make a report on the Tracker

    without an error log we can't tell, no. bringing up other games that run fine is redundant, unless you're telling us that WoW and EVE is run by Java aswell? Necromancy has been reported many times with drivers issue on the B-Team Tracker.

    I've been stuck in a gigantic snow biome, where horses don't spawn, for a week so they haven't bothered me as much. This isn't the complaiment thread either, take it up with Skuli or better yet, isn't there a config option to make them stop spawning?

    Necessary? perhaps not. Does it add excitement and thrills? Absolutly! I love lycan mod. Forget about having lava lakes around your castle now, or the Lobbers will get ya!

    This was mentioned on Skuli's thread: the map is on the "dimensions" mode, which is very useful when you dig underground tunnels. For full worldmap visibility you need to click "u" key I can confirm this is true, after digging about 30+ layers I found a secret room beneath. Thanks

    we are not in charge of servers, only server posts and where they are posted. If there are dicks in charge of the server, just avoid it.

    as with any beta releases there can be crashes, errors and frustrations. If you don't have the patience to ride it out, go play the recommended version. As for personal opinion: I like the beta, but I don't like running against arrows without a shield
