nobody has reported this yet, I'm not sure if it's blatantly obvious but I'll say it anyway: shields from Zeldas mod does not show any recipe on NEI. if anyone knows how to craft them, please post the recipe in spoilers. -

nope. If you add additional mods on the packs the "guarantee" is off. It becomes a custom pack and your own problem. The correct section to post custom packs is here on Pagoda. Any reports I find with the words "I added a mod" on the Tracker gets locked and rejected. -

got a crash-to-launcher after summoning a pighead spider minion. the current save is corrupted now. might be my fault and not a bug, I built the necromancy altar in my basement which was only 3 blocks high. The spider minion spawned above my wooden altar and got stuck in the roof http://paste.ubuntu.com/8069859/ the technic log is ridonculously huge. I'll post the minecraft log for ease of reading the actual crash -
Can you read java language? If not, don't bother

atleast with the zelda mod when you target a mob you can do moves like quickly strafing left or right, which is very useful when fighting spitting mobs. I still miss a proper, craftable shield. Zelda do provide 2 according to the NEI, but no recipe for them.

have you tested it on new beta version of Hexxit? I do miss having shields (cursed archers sniping me!), but the Zelda sword skills does look quite fancy. I like the secret rooms that you need to blow up and clicking x to target mobs, makes it easier on those pesky poisonous bats

Some people seems to ignore this thread by thinking "it's not a modpack bug! It shouldn't belong in the Tracker!" Well you're partly right, it shouldn't. But if we allow users to post all their technical issues on the Modpack discussion it's gonna get bloated. it already is... The Tracker exist for a good reason, so users that require tech help can receive it and those that wish to ask about gameplay mechanic can ask here. Let me break it down in simple words: Does your game crash? Post a report on the Tracker. Won't the modpack download? Post a report on the Tracker. Won't the launcher work for you? Post a report on the Tracker. Did you add additional mods to the pack and it doesn't work now? Ask help on Platform Pagoda Don't know why that machine wont work? Ask on this section, that's what this section is for. I'm gonna start deleting posts and giving warning points to people who ignore these pinned threads.

there's no such thing as "Thalmacraft" or "Thamacraft". Thaumcraft will most likely not be included, this was expressed by the mod author that he didn't want his mod included in any public packs. Last I checked he may have changed that stance. Thaumcraft is not the only magic mod in existence. Ars magica is in here, Harken Scythe and a few obscure dark arts like Necromancy. There's also many world gen dungeon mods that add a few magical sticks and stuff. Thaumcraft is not needed, if you want it you can add it yourself -
originally the Tracker / Bug Report section was meant for users to report bugs within the pack, but users break the game locally in so many different ways that it has turned into a "help this user download java"-mess. so yes you're right, it is not an issue with the pack itself. But we still want users to post on the Tracker, with the Tracker Rules to follow makes it easier for everyone to track and fix issues

So I'm a little confused around some stuff around the new beta, but these questions don't belong in Skuli's thread as they are questions on what these new features are. Feel free to use this thread if you have likewise questions that makes you scratch your head in confusion. so for starters: what is the infused xp on armour and leveling? I thought it was from zeldas mod but the mod site doesn't mention anything about levelling up armour. and why does a random music note play whenever I travel a distance or over a place?

they had to disable villages because of a crashing issue between villages and BoP on Attack of the B-team So it's highly unlikely that mod will be added here

oh, so it's a mod that makes vanilla recipes changeable? I thought it was something that made mobs bleed Jaded's blood to use for the dark arts.... Not so creepy then.
