    There is no newer build than 1.0.12a, which is for 1.6.4 minecraft If you want a modpack for the 1.7x+ minecraft you can always find and download all the authors mods and make it into a pack while doing that, perhaps you can check if the mods are even updated to 1.7x+ minecraft?

    I've only had the sound gone when I was playing offline, closing the game and launcher and starting it again and my internet turned on made it work.

    let's see.... OP posted this server post on the Attack of the B-team section? check! wrote "Attack of the B-team server" on the title? check! I don't know man... maybe he's running Voltz? if you're asking what version of the modpack faps_a_lot is running, now that is a good question. OP did post it on his server post, would've been prefered to have it on the title like the >Guidelines say it should be might want to change that, OP, to 1.0.12a

    Technic staff can't ban anyone from using the launcher, anyone saying so deserves to have his foot in his mouth. The launcher connects through the mojang authentication server, so it rests on mojang to ban anyone from using any launchers. Not that they would ever use that power on payed costumers I don't know what 8-year old you had on your server, but I highly doubt it is anyone from the staff.
