  1. Before I do something that is possibly very stupid, are there any game-breaking incompatibilities between Thermal Expansion and Minefactory reloaded when used along side Industrial Craft?

      No, they work fine together. You'll need some form of power conversion to use IC2 powergen with CoFH (RF) mods and vice versa.

      Why Keep IC2? TE, Mek, and COFH can do all IC2 can and better/cleaner

      I was kind of doing a private cross-over experiment in which I would try using some of the updated mods from tekkit classic with some of the newer ones from the more recent tekkit. Incidentally my computer ran out of memory so I dropped TE. More of the mods I had were better off with IC2 than not.

  2. I basically swear by copy.com at this point. Really is a good file host when you get used to it.
  3. Yeah Im going with the above people saying mixed. Having both allows an interesting set of possibilities; For example, with IC2 your main goal is often to get to the most advanced machinery, so an RPG Quest System could have some quests based around that. RPG styles often influence you to use all aspects of a modpack, something that could get pretty interesting with a technology based pack.

  5. Anyone know of some good mods in 1.7.10 that add mobs? Im not looking for something so powerful it ruins the pack, just enough added to compensate for the fact that I have 2 weapon mods in a single pack.

  6. I like the mods you added. It's nice to see Morph on that list (Gotta love Ichun's mods). I will definitely give the pack a try when I have a chance.

  8. Ok can you explain that 5 free users thing? Does that mean that there can only be 5 people who can download the file or just 5 accounts from one network?

  10. I did everything plow said, still getting error 504. Pardon the odd title, this version you have given me help on is basically, well, more or less a private WIP modpack for a few people. Hence why everything is so bare in terms of descriptions ( I do plan to add stuff to the descriptions and change logs and all that fun stuff once I get this running since it's private)

  12. I messaged you the ge.tt link. Hope you dont mind. Also you may notice a lack of custom config files if you look at the file. I got lucky and all mods ran together without issues.
  13. Hi everyone. I have been trying to register a modpack on the platform but when I give it the download link it get's stuck on the edit modpack page until I get error 504. I have been using Ge.tt as my file host if that helps. Thanks in advance.
  14. Hello. I have been doing work for a modpack that will be in 1.7.10. I have one issue that I need help with. I cant seem to find any modpacks in 1.7.10 to test the mods in just to make sure it works with the technic platform. Can someone either explain how to get things running manually or direct me to a bare 1.7.10 modpack with no mods in it? I have been going through the pinned modpack tutorial, just running into a brick wall XD *I have done all the standard testing (ids and such), im just confused as to how to get the modpack into 1.7.10 and how to make it publishable. Update, if a mod can delete this thread please do. I found a tutorial video. Sorry for wasting your time.
