Yes, use the Curse Launcher, as it was made for that launcher.

Regular minecraft does not use your version of Java but its own version, Java8u25. Mind mentioning the error?
-
It may be a wild shot, but the version of OpenComputers you added may be too "young" for the modpack. Try downgrading to an older version instead. MC1.6.4-1.3.2.525 might help.

Have you, by any chance, created multiple end worlds? https://github.com/ForgeEssentials/ForgeEssentials/issues/1597

Well, yeah, your issue is that you have Intel HD Graphics, while your operating system is Windows 10. Try grabbing it here instead: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-archive-javase8-2177648.html

Cannot view said attachment, please upload contents of said crash to www.pastebin.com.

Of which you are trying to allocate 3.5 GB. Yup, that's not going to work. The rule of thumb is that you allocate half your system's RAM or 4 GB max, whichever is less. In your case, you would not be able to allocate more than 2 GB.
-
And how much RAM is in your computer?

Try generating the map on a non-MCPC server, then use it on your MCPC server.

That latest 64-bit java is your issue. Downgrade your java to 8u25, or if you have one, use your videocard to run Technic/Minecraft, and not your stock Intel Graphics driver.

Whoever made that modpack didn't have a clue how technic modpacks work. That is not going to be an easy fix there.

That's problematic, innit? Well, luckily for you, one of the moderators made a small script that removes said java variable, which you can download here. Mind that nothing will come up when you open that file, but your issue will be solved. Restart the launcher and happy playing!

This is in the wrong location, you should try Server Op Swap Shop. While you move your issue, look into this as well: https://github.com/Chicken-Bones/CodeChickenLib/issues/33

I was able to download and launch said modpack succesfully, are you sure you still have this issue? -

An URL to your modpack (not the dropbox link) would be great. -

Try checking if there is an update for your (intel hd?) graphics drivers.

Launcher takes over an hour to detect a new modpack version

Have you waited a few minutes before restarting? Have you tried deleting and re-adding the pack? -
