  1. The appdata folder is hidden by default.
  2. Your modpack.jar is in the top folder, not the bin folder. That, and you seem to have installed forge. Don't do that, rename the installer itself.
  3. You can't make a .rar file and just rename it to .zip. That's the same as making a Word document, then saving it as a Powerpoint file. And now you are attempting to get Powerpoint to open your renamed Word document. When you zip your file, make sure its compressed as a zip. Not as a .rar. Also, Google Drive doesn't allow for direct downloads, so its useless for modpacks. Use Dropbox.
  4. You either doubleclick the launch.bat or launch.sh. Probably launch.sh, as you are on a mac, not windows.
  5. Not that weird, as the ExtCaves you included is for 1.14.4. Get the version for 1.16.5 https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/extended-caves/files/3085297
  6. You delete the world folder and you launch the server with the launch.bat.
  7. Sounds like you started the minecraft_server.jar instead of the launch.bat. You are walking around on a vanilla server now.
  8. You extracted Forge before renaming it to modpack.jar. You rename the installer itself.
  9. Modpack incorrectly zipped, zip bin/config/mods folders directly into one zip, not the folder they're in.
  10. Forge for 1.15.2, Optifine for 1.16.5. I'll let you figure out the rest.
  11. I just checked your modpack. It doesn't start as you are missing Mixin. Add this mod to your modpack and you will get to the missing dependencies screen, of which there are atleast two. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/mixinbootstrap/files/3076610
  12. You just include the Flan folder in your modpack zip.
  13. Modpack not zipped correctly. Zip bin/config/mods folders directly. Currently the folder containing those 3 (actually 2) is zipped.
  14. You didn't make a backup of the world, you are out of luck. You loaded the vanilla server which overwrote all the modded stuff.
  15. Had you read the error message and looked at your download link, you might've had a clue. The launcher ONLY takes .zip files. And no, renaming your .rar to .zip doesn't work, just zip it as a .zip.
  16. For 1.12.2 latest, you download the installer, and rename it as-is to modpack.jar (or modpack, if you still have file extensions turned off).
  17. Not zipped correctly and modpack.jar is actually called modpack.jar.jar now. Turn on file extensions and zip the bin/config/mods folders directly. Also, only get your mods from curseforge (and a few specific sites from mod devs dedicated to that small amount of mods like Micdoodle/Galacticraft). Also, did you get the forge universal or forge installer?
  18. Normally you make your own post, perhaps link back to this, but in this case, just read this page to see which dependency you are missing. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/ice-and-fire-dragons
  19. Yeah, that's a 1.6.4 specific issue, and you'll have to keep trying to join your server till it lets you. It usually didn't happen more than twice in a row for me.
  20. Its a mac, so quite a bit more work than windows: 1. Close the Technic Launcher. It cannot be running! 2. Open terminal 3. Copy and paste: sudo rm -rf /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk-8.[0-9]+.({261..299}|[3-9][0-9]+).*.jdk/ If it asks you for your password then type in your password. You will not see your password being entered as your type, but it is being entered! Once you've finished typing your password hit enter on your keyboard. 4. Copy and paste: sudo rm -rf /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin 5. Copy and paste: sudo rm -rf /Library/PreferencePanes/JavaControlPanel.prefPane
  21. "I have Java 8 update 281" Welcome to your issue. Downgrade it to 8u251. https://javadl.oracle.com/webapps/download/GetFile/1.8.0_251-b08/3d5a2bb8f8d4428bbe94aed7ec7ae784/unix-i586/jdk-8u251-macosx-x64.dmg
