  1. This stuff goes into Platform Pagoda, as it is a modpack issue, not a launcher issue; Heh, another broken SSundee modpack eh? Just open the config (.technic -> modpacks -> That modpack -> config folder) that's named BspkrsCore and set the version/update check to false and save.
  2. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/codechickencore/files/3293859 That one. At the time of making this post, the site is sluggish.
  3. You go into the modpack's mod folder and you replace the .47 file with your new .48 file.
  4. Yeah, that modpack is broken. Many old modpacks broke when the auto-download of CodeChickenLib broke. There's an easy fix for that (update CodeChickenCore to version .48), but that doesn't fix many of the old modpack on the platform. Also, this should've gone into Platform pagoda, as this is a modpack issue, not a launcher issue.
  5. Yeah no. Include your launcher log, thanks.
  6. Whew, a 6 year old modpack? Been a while since I saw a non-official modpack with that age that still worked. Well, other than the panorama no longer working since that imgur picture is gone. Flew around in survival-creative for a while. No crashes. Please provide a crashreport or your launcher log. Use pastebin.
  7. Then this is not the issue you have and you should really post your own thread about it instead of posting on a random nearly 4.5 year old one.
  8. Include your technic log (Launcher Options > Open Logs). Use this site to upload it. https://paste.ubuntu.com/
  9. [B#680] Exception in thread "OpenComputers-SoundUpdater" [23:22:02] [OpenComputers-SoundUpdater/INFO]: [java.lang.Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:-1]: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space [B#680] Exception: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError thrown from the UncaughtExceptionHandler in thread "Client thread" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError Allocate more RAM to your modpack.
  10. Do you only have a microsoft account? This launcher requires the microsoft account to have a minecraft java edition account attached. Are you underage, as in below 18 years old? Microsoft doesn't allow you to use the account because its too young. Optionally, try going to %appdata%\.technic\ and delete the oauth folder. Just multiple possible causes of this.
  11. Yeah. You might want to disable that again though, its a blunt axe approach. If you want to prevent this in the future, don't leave genes inside the DNA breeder when you leave the chunk. This issue happens when your base unloads but there's still a gene inside the breeder.
  12. You go here: C:\Users\Gabriel Taylor\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\sirsparklepantzs-pack After that, you go into the mods folder, delete CodeChickenCore version .47, and replace it with version .48 you downloaded above.
  13. Please include a crashlog or your technic log. You can use this site to upload it. https://paste.ubuntu.com/
  14. You need to manually update CodeChickenCore, as the currently included one is broken. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/codechickencore/files/3293859
  15. You cannot run this server on any other java than java 7 or java 8 (preferably java 8). You are trying to use a later java version.
  16. No clue, what's your modpack?
  17. When you update your modpack, but don't increase the modpack's version, the launcher's cache doesn't get reset. That means that it keeps using the old download link for up to about an hour. If you increase the modpack's version, a simple launcher restart is usually enough to trigger it. Downloaded fine on my end now though (probably because its 12 hours later now).
  18. The Forge installer, renamed to modpack.jar, just goes into the bin folder. You probably included the universal forge, but that one doesn't work for the last few versions of Forge for 1.12.2.
  19. It's quite literally just here: https://www.technicpack.net/download But considering you said your antivirus triggered, you are probably using Norton. Which is crap.
  20. Right, so just a 1.12.2 Kitchen sink pack with just about every big mod under the sun included. Indeed, that would probably get you past 16 GB required.
  21. If your pack is "struggling" with 16GB and "needs more", you are literally doing it wrong somewhere.
  22. Include forge as an installer, renamed to modpack.jar. Don't extract the installer.
  23. Downgrade java to 8u251. Don't use 8u301. https://javadl.oracle.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=242044_3d5a2bb8f8d4428bbe94aed7ec7ae784
  24. That's a log that shows a running server. The buildcraft stuff is just the old version checker failing.
  25. Don't use 15 GB. That's the whole problem, you are allocating way too much memory.
