  1. I installed this pack and had no issue starting it. Provide your technic log file. Use pastebin.
  2. I'm just going to leave this here, this has nothing to do with the launcher and everything to do with Microsoft being crap.
  3. Took about 5 minutes, of which one was spent reading your log, the next minute googling advanced compasses and checking the version against your included version, then moving to the issues page, then another 2 minutes reading the issues there and finally the last minute posting the relevant issue back on your two threads.
  4. See https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/advanced-compass/issues/15
  5. See https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/advanced-compass/issues/15
  6. Microsoft: Doesn't care much if you have Minecraft Java Edition or Minecraft Bedrock Edition (Formerly Windows 10 Edition), also the cheaper version of the two. Technic: Only takes Minecraft Java Edition.
  7. Please either provide the modlist or the modpack itself. Minor edit: Is Optifine a clientside only mod again nowadays?
  8. Just leave it. The negative value pauses at about minus 2^31, but the internal value goes further. If it takes 5 seconds to reach the visual value, it would take 681 YEARS to reach the internal value before it errors out on that. It shouldn't be taking this long, however, as the modpack in the screenshot is just over 100MB in size.
  9. Due to the custom way that Technic supports both very very old Forge versions and newer versions of Forge, Forge for 1.17 and 1.18 are currently not supported.
  10. The negative download value is a visual glitch due to a change in dropbox providing the filesize. Just ignore it till it finishes downloading the modpack.
  11. This has to do with a change in how dropbox sends its file-size. It's a visual bug only, and the modpack downloads fine. As it is a visual bug, it is low priority. Hexxit II is a Solder modpack, and thus is unaffected by a dropbox related bug.
  12. OpenCCSensors is probably tied to the older version of the mod and doesn't work with the newer version you added, so you will have to update OpenCCSensors as well. http://www.computercraft.info/forums2/index.php?/topic/5996-mc-1710-cc-165-openccsensors/ See if the 1.6.4.5 version works for you.
  13. Like, just include those folders as you would with bin/config/mods? It's really that simple, haha.
  14. Set a different internet browser as your default browser, then try logging in again. If you already have your default browser open, check if a new window opened. The login process is via a browser due to how Microsoft Auth works. The launcher is "frozen" until it receives an auth token (or not) from the microsoft auth.
  15. The launcher's just an executable. The files, including the modpacks, are usually stored in your %Appdata%\Roaming\.technic folder.
  16. The difference between Attack of the Bteam and the insanity called Omega adventure pack, dubbed by me as the Omega Messpack, is, well, insane. The main reason I've seen the console freeze is utter and pure log spam, what size are your technic logs? I've seen the console freeze above 1 MB worth of log each second.
  17. If you use the regular download for Java, regardless of it being latest or not, it WILL be the 32-bit version, meaning you can only use 1 GB max. Assuming windows: Download the Offline version, the one that says 64-bit. https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
  18. I've just tried it, had no issues with the ritual. See screenshot for my setup: https://imgur.com/0HPk7or You do have the infernal animus on the ground, right? Not in your inventory? Minor note: The chat message is me retrying the ritual with not enough altar power available to see if that might be the cause or not.
  19. Make sure to zip the bin/config/mods folder directly, not the folder those are in. If you zip the folder, you get the issue you describe (and that's why there's a Test folder in your second link).
  20. What is supposed to happen is that your browser opens and you login there. On certain branches of Linux, this causes issues as the way to open the browser doesn't work there. It freezing is just the launcher waiting, and only waiting, on the browser login to return a token.
  21. That's a deleted modpack. That said, you could ask in their discord which is provided on their technicpack page: https://www.technicpack.net/modpack/city-life-1710.1772363/about
  22. Did you extract Forge? Don't. Also, modpack.jar.jar, and there's a modpack.zip there as well. And don't capitalize your folders, keep them all lowercase. Also, why is there another mods.zip in your mods folder?
  23. There's a copy of your zipped mods folder in your bin folder? Where's Forge? Also, you zipped the folder containing the bin/mods folder. Don't, zip these directly.
