Maybe using 64bits java would be a great idea?

My Modpack is crashing before the mojang load screen
JaariAtmc replied to JimmyTumor's topic in Platform Pagoda
Modpack is missing CodeChickenCore, CodeChickenLib or both. -
You've got a modpack.jar.jar. Just name the file in the bin folder "modpack" and your ready to go. Well, unless you have other issues after it runs. Didn't test.

Help, crashing while loading in mojang screen
JaariAtmc replied to Goreabolis's topic in Platform Pagoda
"Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" You probably have Java_Options limitting Java to 512 MB max. Please run the following file: download.uskarian.net/technic/clearJavaEnvVars.bat -
Power went out while my game was running and now the world won't load!

Log. Thanks. -
Forge 1.14 and Technic launcher do not work together. Do not expect it to work for a while. Other launchers have this issue too. Forge 1.13/1.14 only really works with the vanilla launcher.

Normally I'd say this is missing CodeChickenLib, but that's included. Did you include CodeChickenCore as well?

Attack of B-Team server crash, items involved [LOG INCLUDED]
JaariAtmc replied to kilm's question in Attack of the B-Team
This is not a log. This is a wall of purely irrelevant text at best. -
TechniKhittyBOTToday at 3:29 AM 11. I can't allocate more than 1GB of RAM in the launcher! You have 32-bit Java instead of 64-bit Java. You can get 64-bit here: https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp. Once you install it, restart the launcher and it will auto-detect it! So, what does it say in the lower right corner of the launcher?

This issue is common for older computers and Windows 10. We recommend, if it's a desktop, to get a dedicated graphics, as it is always a better option, anyways. However, there is a fix. Please press WindowsKey + X and click on "Programs and Features" and uninstall all copies of Java. After that, install Java 8 from this link: http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=98428 Start up the launcher and try again. -
You probably got ratelimitted. If you left it alone for some time between posting this and me replying, it should've resolved itself already. You can prevent this by looking for modpacks here: https://www.technicpack.net/modpacks instead of on the launcher itself.

Help getting Modpack to launch / Crashing back to Launcher
JaariAtmc replied to Kryllex's topic in Platform Pagoda
No. Forge 1.14 does not work with TechnicLauncher (nor MultiMC, and although ATLauncher technically supports it, the dev was VERY unhappy with it). -
Two things: Only download mods from Curseforge (yes, it is obvious you didn't in most cases). Also, remove the .jar from your modpack.jar in the bin folder.

Help getting Modpack to launch / Crashing back to Launcher
JaariAtmc replied to Kryllex's topic in Platform Pagoda
It'd probably help if you didn't download almost every mod off 9minecraft, but from Curseforge. Yes, I'm aware that curseforge is butt ugly right now. For example, the Optifabric-Mod-1.14.3(1) you included (a dead give-away you didn't get it from Curseforge) has 2 newer versions already. I had to look at the source of the mod to find this out, as 9mc is so lovely to remove all the mod's version tags. -
Like uhh, don't put em in the server folders?
-
This is because the TechnicLauncher has no hands.
-
That's because its not a program you install. The whole "install" process is just the executable making a folder in Appdata -> Roaming to place everything, and the program you start is the program itself. Just delete the .technic folder and the techniclauncer executable and you've uninstalled everything.

Yes. Get used to working with NBTExplorer. Yes, its going to be a pain. You'll have to edit your player.dat file.
