Beside that, we have a custom serverbuild running, with IC2, BC and the weaponsmod running and working. Downside is that the client likes to crash at random, but its up there for whoever wants to log onto: mc.tekkitraft.com:25577 (server wont have 24/7 uptime, but it is working)

It might be "faulty" and stuff and not iclude everythin gppl expect, but we are on toes into improving it asap as we can and untill Tekkit releases a serverbuild :)

We do have alot of players online at almost any time of the day, and we are noticing how its affecting us in regards of TPS/FPS. So we are now doing some "final" testing with the current Tekkitbuild, and work towards the next update will start shortly. We have some stuff planned, and we might update faster than anyone would belive this time ;)

Re: ۞ TekkitCraft ۞ [128 Slots, Dedicated, Highly populated and modified, no Lagg??] We are at the moment into heavy testing of EE in regards of TPS drops for the server, some items might not work as inteded right now, but we hope that we can enable more items than we are dissabling to compensate for it.

Re: ۞ TekkitCraft ۞ [128 Slots, Dedicated, Highly populated and modified, no Lagg??] To get the TPS improved, we might do some changes in regards of EE, it wont be "gamechanging", it will just make EE harder, as EE is 1) Dropping our TPS and 2) Is like semi creative. We dont want that situation in any regards, so we are working on solutions to sort that.
  8. Players can place items in protected area, and hawkeye wont tell who did it! Well, the fix is pretty damn simple: http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,4728.0.html Do this fix, and everything from Towny to WG is sorted, and hawkeye can tell you who did it. This post is just done as a "rushpost", and ill add more on hawkeye later today (if i get time that is) Also, please state issues that ur server is having, and ill post howto fix it. Dont post issues about getting it started, there are other post for those issues!

  10. You can also do /remove items -1 (that removes ALL items on the ground within all loaded chunks of the server). When your first doing it, also do drops, arrows, boats and xp. Just to make shure u get all shit on the ground gone. In regards of killing animals do /butcher -a, that kills all mobs on the server. But if you dont have any plugins that limits the mobspawn, you back to basic in regards of mobs in 5 minutes.
  11. First off, just turn sounds off, really, totally off. MATMOS seems to be making clients lag at random and is NR1 source of clientsided lag. After that, its all in regards of settings. As stated above, its Java, and well, even if you play Skyrim at top settings etc, Minecraft can still make you lag, even if its "simpler".
  12. Point of vid is, thats the max you can "nerf" the speed of it, and still retain all items that dont bypasses protections if set up correct that is) on a highly populated server (we are talking about 50+ players during any day of the week).

  14. Some of these players have played since early feb, so they do have alot of stuff. When played long enough, well, you migth be interested in doing other stuff, but still play on the same server. And yeah, we had flowers that was larger than those on that vid, and another thing that ppl tend to forget, any player AFK`ing, loades alot more chunks than a chunkloader. Ppl tend to forget that issue. And whats in that vid, is a result of a older map. Only option is to reset, but do ppl wanna risk playing somewhere that is in the risk of resetting at "random"?

  16. I cant see all post made in this thread related to the OP, i guess there are theads that are more suited. This is more aimed for owners/admins etc on actually howto make theyre server save, limit items etc. There are several other posts about howto set up a server and similar. And i know, i dont update when i say im to, well, its mostly becose we have our own server, that need a ton off attention so time is sometimes limited towards actually doing this post. I could have done it real simple, and just copied in our files and whatnot, but thats not the idea of the. Its to show possibilities, and guide people into how to prevent issues, fix issues and be aware of knows bugs.

For now, the usage in Q will result in kicks, but who knows, it might result in autobans on the future? And i want to give ppl some idea on what our "Factoryworld" really is with a picture: Im sorry i cant have it all loaded, my MC just runs out of memory ... This world IS linked to the normal server, even if the IP is different to access it. and best off ... that server is PACKED with chunkloaders, so its constantly loaded! Log onto that world, grab what you need, log out and into our main server, and u still have the items in your inventory! (alchemical bags are not working with this)
  19. This is exactly the bug we are having, the EMC wont "go away straight away" so you can take out the original item after you take out a targetitem (put in a diamond, take out the target diamond then fast take out the original, voila, 2 diamonds).
  20. Later today ill cover the following subjects: Figuring out what errors make a server/client crash, and how to fix it WITHOUT resetting the map, or deleting entire areas for resetting them. Ill also include a list of known issues that creates servercrashes and clientcrashes (there arent that many, dont worry) with fixes. I will also include a few more plugins thats needed (there might be similar plugins ofc that does the same work, but those I list wont conflict with eachother atleast).

Re: ۞ TekkitCraft ۞ [128 Slots, Dedicated, Highly populated and modified, no Lagg??] We also added some nifty features, that allows the server to restart when if feels it has to, aka, when its to laggy, someone manage to try and crash it etc. That means, whenever we are sleeping, the server sorts itselfe regarding restarts and what not!

Re: ۞ TekkitCraft ۞ [128 Slots, Dedicated, Highly populated and modified, no Lagg??] We finally completed our server to server plugin, meaning donors get theyre own server to build theyre EE flowers and other stuff, where everything is 100% loaded with chunkloaders all the time. Inventory also carries over, so what u collect from our "Factoryworld" will be in you inventory on our Tekkitserver. This is done to improve the TPS rating, and allow for smother gameplay!
