To make a really long post short, EE feels way too much like creative to me. Another way to say it is I feel like it's so easy it's like getting the items by pulling them out of the item list. Part of the fun of getting diamond is that it's supposed to be kinda rare. If you can pull them out of the air in stacks, they lose some of their fun. Even though I have around 80 diamonds in my chest at base, I still get giggly when I find some in the shaft I'm mining. If I could pull them out of thin air that fun would be gone.

I didn't do the 3.0.3 to 3.0.4 upgrade because it seemed pretty small. So is the upgrade path from 3.0.3 to 3.1.1 the same as 3.0.4 to 3.1.1? Also is 3.1.1 still running bucket R 1.3? The new 3.1.1 tekkit page doesn't list the bukkit version as far as I can tell.

Ah yeah I use buckets to move liquids. Thanks for the info about ender chests. I'll make sure not to store anything valuable in them. ... Also it would seem people may be able to steal items you're using the ender chest for. Have to watch out for that.

What about ender chests? Are they player specific as well?

So will this plugin block the crafting of items in any crafting table in tekkit?

One problem I found using nolagg is if I broke a gold or diamond chest and had the 'allowable stacks per chunk' set too low, it would delete the overflow. Really not cool losing stacks of ore. lol I disabled that feature. I do use the 'autostack on the ground' feature though. Very nice.

Hmm I'll have to try this. It would be nice to be able to block the crafting of terraformers instead of only being able to block the have or placements of them. For some reason blocking the crafting of an item doesn't work for me with modifyworld.

Yep what sct said. I actually had a chat with a Towny rep in their IRC when I was installing mine. After turning off the check it worked. Also your avatar is legendary, sct. ... er I mean I can't do that, Dave.

Deployers work. I just created something that picks up lava from a tank and another deployer will spit it out.

I've tried using recipe manager plugins. Some of them work on the items above the 1000 ID range, but fail to prevent items in the 200s like terraformer. I've decided to convert my permissions to pex. It's worth the investment to have that kind of control over the server.

Nope I can see they're looking to mate, but then no baby spawns. Making it really hard to make arrows.

I've done a forum and google search, and can't find a thread with information on this, so bear with me if their is such a thread or link. I can't get penned in animals to reproduce consistently. I feed 2 of them wheat, and they bump faces but 85% of the time no baby spawns. The two animals just walk away smoking cigarettes. Another interesting thing of note, sometimes some of the animals will allow me to continue feeding them wheat. They're bottomless pits. Am I not feeding my animals enough or something?

The connection issues are almost assuredly port forwarding. Also make sure you're giving your friends your external IP; not the internal one. Use www.whatismyipaddress.com to find your external IP.

This mod and others are working great for blocking IC items like nano armor, but it can't seem to block gold bar crafting (from nuggets - item 266). =(

I use GroupManager from Essentials, but that modifyworld permission is really tempting. I want to disable the IC2 armors and the UU matter stuff. I also use Hawkeye for logging block changes and all kinds of other actions. Apparently it's really awesome, although I haven't had to 'use' it yet. lol I've disabled EE altogether. Way too powerful IMO. I use Towny for special protections. I don't think it handles PvP all that well, although it is an option. It's got some module called war where towns or nations can fight and destroy each others cities, etc. I'm using towny because it lets you set plots for sale and also does a tax system on the town and player plots. Kinda cool. I use ChestShop for shops. Simple yet effective I think. For economy I just use Essentials, although I've disabled almost all the commands. Our economy is gold ingot based. You can 'bank' your gold at special bank 'shops'. You can use the gold in your account to buy towny plots, pay tax, and buy from player shops. If you want to trade a physical player, you have to physically trade gold ingots for items. (note: you need to disable pigmen from dropping gold nuggets)

Yeah. I've already got gold and sapphires. I've been cave diving. So I went to my test server and turned creative on. Apparently redstone is very rare on tekkit. Took me a long, long time to find some. In vanilla the stuff is coming out of my ass. At least I know it's spawning. Is this due to it having to compete with more ore types?
