Deliver pizza to torchwood!

Doesn't finite water have that?

Update your java? 0.o (Is it lower or upper case? It matters afaik)
-
Get an error log. (It is located in %appdata%\.techniclauncher\logs and is named launcher_0.log [0 being the latest] and post it on pastebin.com) I (and we) can't really help you if you don't specify an exact java version (press start, type "cmd", in the black window type "java -version") or without a log. P.S. the launcher version =/= technic pack version. (The launcher version is in the title of the window, top-left)

Really? I have 32bit and it works just fine. Or I don't really know what you mean.. T_T

Hell yea, and OP as well. Idea is: making an infinite uranium source to power 20 reactors at once and wire HV wires under peoples' homes without insulation :D

What if Mojang removes mod support in demo mode?!

http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/autorun-inf-does-not-work-in-windows-7-anymore/ This makes me want to change to XP so bad.

Exactly. I mine them even with a crowd of pigmen around and no armor to protect me at all :3
-
You just gave me a new idea for my tekkit server :)
-
Does that mean that piece of code is still there? Won't Alblaka remove it? ;_;
-
What? Don't we have that mod? >.>
-
Huh. I am more of a risky type guy, I'd go mining even if every block I mined had a 1/5 chance of blowing up.
-
I wonder, is Sir Sengir the only modder who went full-blown kookoo and did that?
-
1) Go to http://www.technicpack.net 2) Click on the Tekkit tab. 3) Click on download server. 4) Extract server. 5) Run server (launch.bat/.sh) 6) Doesn't work? Try this for size! 6a) Right click on launch.bat and click Edit. 6b) Delete everything. 6c) Put this instead: java -jar -Xmx1G -Xms1G tekkit.jar >log.txt 6d) Run server. 6e) Open the new file (log.txt) and paste contents here.

As far as I know, Mac usually unzips .zip files when you double click it (my friend has a mac). Try renaming the extension to .jar, and if that doesn't work, use the Mac OS X application to download the .jar file (I use Windows, so the app downloads the launcher to your %appdata%\.techniclauncher and runs it) and see if that will work. Most browsers mistake .jar files and rename them to .zip (my copy of Opera usually does that, it's annoying) so I need to manually rename it to .jar.

Are you sure you have Java?
-
No, it doesn't matter where you put it. Did you double click? Try running it from the terminal (java -jar <location of jar>)
-
Ye, it's under Download on the left. There are 3 versions, Mac OS X, Windows and the Jar one.
