We don't test anything, or even play minecraft! We just press buttons until something gets posted and then rely on incredibly rude people to insult us until we know what all the problems are and can fix them. OK, post your operating system, java version, and the log produced by the launcher in your .techniclauncher folder. There may also be voltz specific logs in the voltz folder You can use pastebin.com to post the logs.

Alternatively you could probably post this question in the server op section since it's not really a bug report. I suppose I'll just move it there for you. As far as I know, the maps won't be compatible but it depends build to build. Someone else will know more about porting maps across versions.
