You can't at the point of writiing this post, find this thread in the first three pages of google results by searching her username. I doubt it is even listed at all. For an employer to even know her username they would have to first search her real name. Searching her real name according to twitter, or her username found on twitter or youtube, offers the first result as her personal website and flickr where the primary subject is "submissive fetish bondange". It also pulls results for a bunch of other people named Ms Knight, or who have MsKnight as their screen name as well. The shit fit she threw over being warned to stop posting in the wrong subforums and breaking rules would have 0 impact on her "professional" life at all. Had she not massively overreacted and posted those insane rambling videos that is. The only way for an employer to now find this "reputation harming slanderous libel" (read: embarrasing tantrum on virtual lego game forum) would be through the videos she posted. And honestly I think those videos make her look way worse then anything we could do. So she'd have a great case if she were suing herself! Unfortunately she was pretty delusional if she thought she ever actually had a case. I can't imagine a single lawyer not laughing and thinking she's playing a joke. I know one who got quite a kick out of it. Yelling "I'm going to sue!" when someone hurts your feelings is what 4 year olds do. They'd probably have more success with it too.

My favourite thing is when people who hate technic rant on other forums about how "the technic devs said this!" and how we're totally justifying their bandwagon opinions of us because of "this post!" and "my god look what they're doing how dare they!". And everyone there goes "Woah! They cant say that, I knew they were assholes/criminals/hitlers!" before they start lighting the torches. And then I click the links to see what they're talking about and they've linked to random people here who are not on the dev team in any way shape or form and don't represent us at all. :psyduck:

Give it some time. Even if no one pardons you, it wears off in a month. Which makes this even funnier because msknight made such a fuss over it, even though if she had just left it alone it would have gone away. Hell, the entire time she was banned her avatar was the default Kitty in Jail, so if she hadn't demanded an unbanning her account wouldn't have gone back to stupid newbie status. :laugh:

This thread is still here because McKnight said she wanted to come back on the 15th for some kind of battle royale or something I don't know. Apparently we're chickenshit for banning her for rulebreaking or something (???) so I guess that means she wanted to go hulk hogan on us. She's not banned, I personally went in and made sure. She SHOULD be, but theres a chance for some comedy. So far it's just been pathetic and depressing. 769 videos and counting. Anyways, looks like people talked her out of her "rock solid libel case" (read: called her an idiot for trying to sue people for making fun of her on the internet) She made a video to say so. Who knows where it goes from here if anywhere? I get to go relax at a cottage for the next week so I'll try to care while I'm gone. Gave you early parole.

Her "ban" was actually a probation set to expire on the 15th apparently. I don't know what to say though because it was removed like 30 mins after the system auto dispensed justice. Those videos Is this real life?!

Also, I'd like to just use this as a prime example. This is an absolutly mental person who shouldn't be validated in any way. We aren't going to post a big list of permissions for the same reason Obama doesn't walk around with his birth cirtificate pinned to the front of his suit. Because these people don't deserve to be taken seriously. Pandering to their confusingly hostile demands over pointless things just encourages them.

I don't understand how you think you've been defamed by being labeled HELEN KELLER. That would be insinuating that the label HELEN KELLER is an insult. Ms Keller was an inspiration, who overcame a poor lot in life to gain education. If any one is disrespecting anyone, it's you. We're not going to post a big page of permissions because we're not going to stoop to their ridiculous childish level. Saying we need to prove anything to these children or man-children is validating their embarrassingly juvenile behavior. Adf.ly is such crap. In addition to all the terrible surface negatives like poor malicious ad screening, bullshit payouts, and forcing people to click them and view ads to get to free content, there are the deeper reasons as well. Adf.ly has been a major contributing factor to the overall poor quality of the modding community. If you look at modding communities like the Elder Scrolls games, or Garys mod, they're a lot more of an actual "community". Much more open exchange of ideas and co-operative efforts. With the minecraft community its the exact opposite. Everyone clutches onto their "ideas" like bread for a starving man, and co-operation is only recently starting to enter peoples vocabulary. The best example is any time Eloraam tries to do anything positive. She gets hoards of idiots screaming at her for "stealing ideas" and other bullshit like that. I remember the igniter block drama. Like Flower Child thought he invented starting fires or something. Anyone who is inspired to make an addon for someone elses mod gets bullied and harassed by the original mod maker instead of supported. Don't forget the "fans" who feel they need to turn every little perceived offense into a passionate all out war. The community should be like a friendly neighborhood, where people help each other and share, and everyone knows the people who live on their street. Currently it's like a private gated community, where everyone stays in their expensive houses or behind privacy fences. If you come to try and borrow a tool, they sick the hounds on you. Very "Fuck you, got mine." mentality. Adf.ly is just one of the factors that keeps the community fenced apart and unco-operative. Which is utterly ridiculous because adf.ly is a really weak source of revenue. There are more passive forms of cash generation that modders could use which would make them much more money then adf.ly ever would, while annoying the end user less. They're ripping themselves off. Hawww. Nail on the head.
