I'm interested. I'm sure he's a pompous sexist douchebag. That seems undeniable. All I can see when he is on video is all the awful hair above his fat neck waving around as he shouts. He doesn't have to yell and swear his speech but that's the way he gets views and I cant argue with that. I listened to the whole thing because he was a big loud idiot who I expected to laugh at during the video. He knows exactly what he's doing. He's stirring up shit and being loud and contrary and it's making him popular or at least infamous, which as far as the internet is concerned both are super legit ways to make money and/or secure your spot in e-history. Also at least in the video in the OP he makes some interesting points as he's yelling and some I could agree with. Of course I'd never heard of him before this thread so that's the only video I've seen. I'm assuming his other shit is way more insane and controversial? All that he's really saying(yelling) in this one is that politicians don't always have their priorities straight, are more worried about looking good and saying the right things for the next election then using the time they have, and that Americans in general have become fixated on bullshit hot topics and unwilling to make sacrifices but still demand positive change in a country extremely far in debt. Change as long as they don't have to lift their own fingers or spend their own dollars. This is true of more places then just the states as well, but it's more pronounced there because of their political system. I mean I can't disagree with him there. That's pretty standard shit and has been true longer then youtube has been a place to scream into a camera. Of course if this thread is just to say what you like or dislike about some guy on youtube then ok: He is a loud douchebag.

You shouldn't be able to mess anything up don't worry. You just drop the pack into the texture pack folders in each mod folder located in .technicpack on your computer. As for packs, there is a whole subform dedicated to them on these forums, go check it out. There should be more detailed info on how to find your texture pack folders in the stickies.

Looking at your feed the beast forum thread about us linked earlier shows that you've made no effort to stop the anti-technic echo chamber. There are downright lies and harmful rumors in there and no effort to correct them or calm them, even after the discussions we've held here where I have gone out of my way to make sure things stay fair and orderly. I am disappointed. We're still going to go ahead with the plans to discuss as our team our relationship with the modders, and do everything we can to make positive change. I just thought your words to me were more genuine and it's disheartening so see that maybe they weren't. I hope I am wrong in that. We want to make positive change happen, and you're in a position where many of the mod makers who think negatively of us respect and like you. Both sides need to want positive change for any to happen. Please remember that one youtube troll does not equal the Technic team. Yeah, MCforums hasn't helped all the drama. I remember reading that copyright thread there where they were posting "example" extremely strict copyright statements and licenses you could use but they were all just made up on the spot by angry 14 year old armchair lawyers and were worthless. Super super counter productive for a modding community and just encouraged the hostile unproductive environment. Part of the reason we have our own forums here is because MC Forums is just so so awful. But anyway, I said no more legal chat. I can feel my IQ lowering already.

Nope. This is between us and the modders and no one else. It's not even a matter of who's doing what anymore, its all just poor relations that need to be worked on. Allow us to handle it on our own time in our own way. Rushing things is only going to make it worse. As Jay? pointed out, we're not suddenly resonable nice people, we've always been. It's just since I've started being more vocal it gives people more to think about then hating KakerMix. Agreed! I would really kill for an Elder scrolls game where cities are actually big too. The bandit and necromancer populations of skyrim both outnumber honest people living in towns and cities about 500 - 1. Probably more. But I digress. I think I may make an Elder Scrolls subform instead of chatting about it in this thread. No one really uses the Day Z and Diablo III ones.

Oh man. The Tycoon games were great. I played the hell out of Roller Coaster Tycoon. Shame the sequels weren't up to standard I hear.

Of the Elder Scrolls games, Morrowind was the most free roam. The map was giant and had a cool atmosphere. The landscape admittedly didn't look as good as oblivion or skyrim due to graphics limitations, but it was way more exotic and interesting then just "trees" and later "trees and snow". I also felt like "this land is bigger then me" rather then "I am the only thing interesting going on in this fucking place". I hear there are graphics overhaul mods for it though which is really tempting me to go back to it and see.
