Also double check to make sure the problem isn't java. I've seen this same thing before where someone was sure they were running 64 bit java, but they actually had like 4 different versions installed, and MC was using a 32 bit. You need to make sure minecraft takes a liking to 64 bit java.

Smart moving should work, but we didn't test it. Cant vouch for the others at all. As for your second half, our project is open source and you are free to fork it for your needs.

I have to agree here. No offense to the OP, we don't know him personally and can't speak to his character. A general warning to server owners though that you are giving a certain amount of control to a single person you don't know. People "bidding" for the top spots on server rankings is a fairly common thing. Just be aware. Edit: That being said, we we aren't going to do anything about it. On average 250ish people register here every day. You know what they're doing? Unless of course a putrid cesspool is a place where intelligent people can discuss something and post creative resources without fear that their threads and ideas will be swamped under by waves of useless posts and idiotic behavior? Your list of suggestions actually made no suggestions beyond "make things better". Well great. Thanks. That's what we're already working on. You offered nothing constructive or any suggestions we could use, you only pointed out negative things that are merely your opinion, or are things that we are well aware of, and have been slowly working on behind the scenes (like the launcher/website and forums designs). You don't seem to grasp that all of this is made by people who don't get paid. We do the absolute most we can with the resources we have. We can't just flick a switch and make everything beautiful. I have to design it first in my free time, and then we have to find friends to help implement those designs in THEIR spare time. You've offered no example resources we could use, or made any actual professional suggestions we could implement. You've just said "these things I think are bad. Make them better." Well thanks a lot. And then of course you offer to "help". Why would we want it? Who are you? We don't know you. We get people begging us to let them beta test etc etc non stop. It's not like you've been a member of our community for a time and have proven your talents and become a friend like sct has. I'd never even seen you or heard you until now. You didn't come in with an impressive resume, or a recommendation from the president of google for excellence in everything. You came in, out of absolutely nowhere, with a list of pedantic criticisms that bordered on insulting, offered no real useful suggestions, and then said "but hey I could help!". I'm sorry if our ego's are beaming too hard to see your REAL value. I'm squinting real hard but I just can't see it.

I'm sorry the website, launcher, and forums established by a bunch of unpaid people in their minimal spare time has upset you to such lengths. I'm just thankful we have people like you who are willing to come in without any visible qualification or understanding, and offer us a long list of pedantic bullshit. I personally vote that we make DrAgonmoray our technic team boss, so while we're privately working very hard on redesigns for the website and launcher and making general improvements where we personally see fit, he can come in and go "I think you should all do things better." That'll sure help! No butts about it!

he has reason to be scared of paypal. They have no regulations because they aren't a bank, so you have very little protection and they can do more or less whatever they want. It's fine for small amounts of money, but I would never willingly use paypal for any larger transactions. (unfortunately I have to) Can't your dad just use his credit card to directly buy MC for you, instead of going through paypal then? If it helps, there is no banks I know of that don't protect their users from theft. Any unauthorized withdrawls through a credit card are extremely easy to reverse with one phone call to the bank.

It is good. Why can't you buy it? If you're young you could ask your parents or something. Or you can use paypal if you don't have a credit card. Admittedly, It costs more money then it should because notch turned into a greedy asshole. Not impossible to save up or do some work/chores and get it quick though.
