  1. My most painful Tekkit experience was the war a friend of mine and myself had on a private server I was hosting. I didn't have a specifically painful moment, but we both died many times (Along with some of our friends who joined the server to take sides as 'soldiers'), and the world was ruined beyond repair with the massive warfare and frantic mining and building we were all doing. Eventually we took the battle to the nether, and that was fun: Fight the terrain and native creatures as much as the enemy. In the end our world was destroyed, everyone died many times, and much fun was had. It was painful, but a fun experience that we all enjoyed.

    Tekkit :(

That's not being racist, that's just being bitgoted towards people with an honest, albeit low-paying jobs.
  3. Out of random curiousity, which antivirus does your computer have?
  4. Good idea. Anyways, I'm kind of happy there are people out there with such awful grammar. Grammar, like many things, can tell you a lot about a person. If they have awful grammar such as then I know I'll probably not get along with them, and they are most likely age 12 or under. It's not universally correct, and I still give that person a chance, but it's a warning sign. It's not wrong to listen to these signs. Some people call it 'judging someone' and would say it is wrong, but it's just your subconcious naturally warning you, 'Hey this person is a dickbag, you won't get along with him or her,' so when that person acts like a dickbag to you, you don't flip out and lose your shit on them back. It's the same thing as if a stranger seems creepy you're probably going to be more cautious around that person, so when they try to stab you, you don't let yourself be stabbed.
  5. This doesn't bug me. If someone is doing it on purpose, grammar mistakes generally don't bother me. ...Generally. Edit: Referring the to the first page or so, my mistake.
  6. I believe you should use the Recommended Build (With all mods enabled that are enabled on the server) and the latest server version. If you are using an old server version though, I can't help you. Also, don't use the dev build, in the case that you are using it. Edit: How to find your internal IP address, for those who may not know. http://www.ehow.com/how_6646773_internal-ip-address.html If this doesn't help your issue, it may be something to do with Minecraft.net.
  7. Are you connecting to your internal IP address? If you're hosting the server on the same computer you're playing on or one connected to the same router as the one you're playing on, you need to figure out the internal IP address of the computer you're connecting to.
