  1. You likely need to downgrade your Java to version 6. There are a few guides on these forums on how to do this so just search for them.
  2. The Launcher runs off of Minecraft 1.2.5, the message you are seeing is from one of the mods included in the pack (MAtmos) telling you that it has been updated since the version included in the pack. Just ignore the message and it will go away.
  3. http://bit.ly/R7wBPv click the link :bang:
  4. Flapjack, if it says bad video card try updating your drivers instead of threadjacking this guys report. Your issue is completely different (and tells you how to solve it). You have wayyy to many AVs. Make sure you disabled any firewalls you also have, and make sure you redownload the pack.
  5. Glad you got it working! Have fun.
  6. Then you need to turn off your other AV and any firewalls you may have.
  7. ... You "think"? Is your computer white with a big apple on the back? If it isn't you have Windows. What version of windows? What bit? What update version of Java? What bit of Java?
  8. Operating System: Do not know Java Version: 7 Antivirus Program: Well based on this info you gave your problem is: Do not know Without that info i can't really help. My suggestion is that you probably have the wrong Java bit for your computer (you should have the 32bit version). If that is not the issue, make sure you turn off any AV's and Firewalls and then redownload the pack.
  9. Here is a link: http://bit.ly/WnOxLJ Also, not really sure what the other interpretation of Bill Gates is...
  10. Heh, did you just try to insult me by calling me a billionaire philanthropist? Nice going there, really cut deep. If you don't know what a sticky is, try google. I would love to help, but that would be unfair to the OP who has a very different problem. If you have a bug, post your own bug report. That way, you give us important information about your system and you let the OP get help in his thread. I told the OP the most likely fix to his problem. Also, I did give you help; I told you where to find the answer to your problem. (Here is another tip: Try reading the thing that says "COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS")
  11. Turn off Norton and redownload. Just because you don't use it doesn't mean it isn't causing problems. Sidenote: If you don't use it you should uninstall it so that it doesn't mess with other things without you knowing.
  12. :bang: If you are on a mac you need to download the mac launcher. Also, the launcher only works (AFAIK) with Java 6 (from Apple) there are a few threads around here that tell you how to downgrade your Java version so just search for those.
  13. So is the problem resolved?
  14. [quote name='"Miner ' date=' post: 249835, member: 100499"']i'm not sure how to acces the log, but i found out that for some reason that when i install the new java its not actually installing :/ because when i go to jave preferences it still only has 2 javas. 5.0 and 1.4.2 not 6.0 and 1.5
  15. And did you figure out what bit your OS was? Make sure that you have matching bits for your OS and Java, and make sure you only have one version of java installed.
  16. I think you may have formated your PC to make it so that every word starts with a capital letter... This isn't really a Launcher bug. Most likely you just have a bad internet connection. Do you happen to live near the East Coast (in the US)?
  17. Do you have a log for us?
  18. Try this: http://bit.ly/R6bXPO
  19. Then your best bet is NEI
  20. NEI is the mod included in the pack. Why do you need them though? If you are trying to add a mod to the pack, the modpack comes with IDResolver that will automatically assign free IDs so that you don't need to do anything.
  21. Pretty sure NEI has a function for this
  22. Turn off AVG and redownload. If that doesn't work: I am getting a “Technic Launcher has Stopped Working Error”! If your launcher is encountering this error, a solution is to download the .jar file from http://www.technicpack.net/download/ (pick the third from the left (Linux/Jar)). If you are using Internet Explorer you will also need to change the file extension (the ending of the file) to .jar instead of .zip. Once you’ve done that, all you need to do is double-click on the file to run the launcher.
  23. Don't thread jack. Your error is very different. Also, "they" do make it for 32 bit OS, you just need to have the right Java version for your OS. (For the record I know what your issue is and you could too if you read the stickys) and it is very different from the OPs.
  24. Both. Anything that may block the launchers access to the internet (Antiviruses, Firewalls, etc.)
  25. Because you are not good with computers?
