Try turning off IC2 sounds in the IC2 config file.

There must be more to that log... Could you try to post the entire thing (if it tells you it is too long, use Pastebin)

Windows is not a Java version and we need more info about your OS. We also need to know your Launcher Version, whether you have an Antivirus and we really read a log.

There is a thread somewhere around here that tells you how to downgrade your Java to Java 6. Just search the Launcher Bug Boards and you should find the solution.

Have you tried disabling Norton and redownloading? What bit is your OS

Not true, if you read the stickies there are numerous different things to try. The top one is only one of the helpful ones. Plus, I didn't waste YOUR time because this is not your bug report, you need to post your own bug report if you want help. You really need to post your own bug report so we can help better.

You need to post your own bug report. Problems like this are very rarely caused by the same things and this thread has not been posted in for months so you are unlikely to get help here

If the above solution did not work for you. Read the other sticky here called COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS. If those solutions don't help, post a bug report.

Then post a bug report after reading the COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS sticky.

That only works if the modpack you are using uses Minecraft version 1.2.3 but yes, as has been stated numerous times, you need to rename it to the Minecraft version that the mod uses.

If this is even remotely true you need to go outside immediately. If the fix here didn't work, read the other sticky.

You should post this in the Tekkit Bug boards. They can provide more helpful advice over there.
