  1. Then you probably have another issue. Yes, use chrome

You didn't do what I said You need to uninstall all Java's you have on your comp. Then get Java 7u7 for 32bit Windows and download it. Then, you need to restart your computer.
  3. This has been stated twice now. Most systems default to having extensions hidden but those who don't still need to add .jar to the end.

    hello

But you guys don't even use them half the time! You just start whenever we ask you so you don't need to give them to us!
  5. Jorcer

    hello

They might not work because of the cold weather we always get! I know that when I renovated the igloo all my other appliances stopped working...
  6. Why did you post two threads that are almost identical? If you needed to change something on them, use the edit button. You are also in the wrong place. You want the Modpack bug section.
  7. All you guys are doing is making this thread longer by say "it doesn't work! oh noes!". This (in my books) is spam. If it doesn't work, go back and double check to make sure you did everything correctly.
  8. That sounds like a very different error. Try posting your own bug report.
  9. No you likely have file extensions hidden. If that is the case, the file is already a jar. If you left out the jar, most people would be left with a file that is incomplete.
  10. Here is a tip, if you have the update failed issue, reading that sticky that says "Update Failed Solution" Might actually help! Crazy I know

  11. Lets continue this in PM so as to not make this help thread longer than it needs to be.
  12. Then you need to download Java...
  13. Try running the Launcher as an Administrator.
  14. Then you likely have an additional problem. Disable all of your antiviruses and turn off firewalls then try again.

The launcher thinks that you have Java 6. Make sure you don't have any other versions of Java (if you do, uninstall them and restart your comp). If that doesn't work, uninstall ALL Java versions and install only Java 7 (make sure you get the correct bit version for your OS, you should get 32bit) EDIT1: Also, make sure you don't get the Java developers kit. EDIT2: Ninja'd by Bride... (how did you know I was typing that?)
  16. If you have a similar problem, search and try any solutions around here and if they don't work, try posting your own bug report.
  17. If that doesn't work make sure you turn off AVG.
  18. This is the solution: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/update-failed-and-a-solution.29102/ For the record, all caps titles are generally a bad idea. (As are unsubstantiated claims that "nobody" can update. I updated fine)
  19. Read this: (bottom of Page) http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/update-failed-and-a-solution.29102/
  20. Well then why would mine work perfectly fine? Along with the majority of users around here. I can guarantee you that if it works for me and many others, it is your computer.
  21. Thank god you came to my rescue Green! I was going to respond in detail but I need to go write my midterm. My Launcher works perfectly fine, so it is not an issue with anything on "my end". If the majority of users can update their launchers, it is definitely a client side issue. Now if you guys had posted bug reports, we might have solved your issues by now, instead of having a thread cluttered with "me too" posts.

    hello

Oh well since you are not america, I will help you. You need to ... Then make sure to ... or else your world will be broken. After that use the ... that you crafted to open the book and then type ... to travel to another dimension.
  23. Holy crap people! Please for the sake of my sanity, read the sticky and post your own bug reports!
  24. Jorcer

    hello
