  1. So then there was a change... Did you read the COMMON PROBLEM AND SOLUTION sticky?
  2. :bang: http://bit.ly/VVVVxr
  3. We need more info. Can you post your log, your OS (Windows 7, etc.) and the Java update number and bit. Also, read the sticky
  4. No, that would require more time and effort searching for the correct forum. Why not just post here since we offer help for a game and they are all the sam anyways right?
  5. Disable Mcafee and redownload the Launcher.
  6. Did you read the CP&S sticky? If you did and that didn't help, you need to post more/more detailed info... What bit is your OS, what is your actual Java version and we need a log.
  7. No, you stated that that sticky did not offer a fix for the other mod pack. In reality it does, it may not solve all of them but it did solve most of them. Even if you have a similar error, posting on this guys bug report without actually adding any helpful info is not helpful. By posting your own bug report, you give us important info that we need to help you and give us info that can help us isolate the issue for others. The YogBox is no longer supported on this forum. If you have issues with it you need to go to the Yogscasts site and post there. If you had actually said that your issue was with the YogBox, I would have told you to do what you just described. It is a pretty well known fix and a quick search of these forums would have told you how to fix it.
  8. Well then you should post your own bug report. Your initial statement was incorrect, evidenced by the fact that numerous people have gotten H/M, YogBox, etc. to work using that solution and thus your issue is clearly different.
  9. No, they will start when all of the mods are updated to 1.4
  10. He has the Malformed URL exception error that AFAIK, has no solution atm. But that isn't why he is quitting Tekkit, its because of me Doubt it but you could ask someone.
  11. But if we shut up we can't tell you the right way to play! What do you want us to do!? Eventually (Do not ask when!)
  12. Wait I was the reason!!?? Oh noes! I feel terrible that your launcher didn't work!
  13. Not an entire player!!! How will Kaker pay for his 5th helicopter and 12 attendants?!
  14. If you had read every post you would have seen that this is not the only solution and that I and others have said to read the COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS sticky and then post a bug report.
  15. Just follow the instructions that I reposted. I have never used this solution because I don't have a mac.
  16. Are you a friend of jake1498? I am not feeling creative atm so I'll just quote Valkon here
  17. Did you read the thread? 1. Download the Java Preferences zip that saintnicster so graciously provided. 2. Open Java Preferences 3. Right click on Java 7 (should open new finder window with one item in it called "1.7.0 jdk") 4. Move 1.7.0 jdk to trash 5. Open Technic Launcher, Sign in and have fun! The bolded part is important

    FPS issues?

You uninstall any other Java's you have and then download the correct one.
  19. Did I? I didn't actually copy-paste but it was probably very similar.
  20. Read the top most sticky. If that doesn't work, downgrade your Java version to version 6 (There is a great guide for that somewhere on these forums). If that doesn't work, you need to add a log.
  21. You don't just replace it with a 1.2.5 file then rename it to the right version... You need to get the 1.2.3 version and then rename it (if the modpack uses 1.2.3)
  22. Read the top most sticky. If that didn't help, turn off Norton and redownload. If that doesn't work post a log here.

    FPS issues?

Tweaking the settings in Optifine should help. Are you using a hi res texture pack?
  24. Incorrect, if you read a few pages in you will see that since the Voxel Box, H/M and Yogbox don't use Minecraft 1.2.5, you need to rename it to the Minecraft version that they use.
  25. Then your issue is your Java. Your computer thinks you have 32 bit Java. You need to uninstall all Java versions you have and then download Java 7u9 64bit for Windows (don't get the JDK version that is just for coders)
