Just noticed your Java version, update it to 7u9 (and uninstall any other versions of Java that you have)

Can you make sure? If it is 64 bit you need to get 64 bit Java, if it is 32, you have the right.

What bit is it?

Doubtful for this error but it is worth a shot. If it doesn't work you really need to make your own bug report.

What is your actual operating system?

Did you make sure all of your AV and firewalls were off? Did you uninstall the Launcher then download it again?

Well, seeing as it doesn't anymore, you should try turning off AVG and redownloading!

Again, don't sign your posts. There is a suggestion thread and normally I would tell you to post there, but in this case I won't even bother. Those mods are terrible for the pack (and on their own IMO) and I would eat my computer mouse if they were even considered.

Turn off AVG and redownload. Also, there is no Windows 5 or 4... If you mean Windows 2000, that is really out of date...

That was specifically stated in the question... He asked if your Vanilla Minecraft worked. (The one that isn't in the Launcher, that you get from Mojang. Doesn't matter though, because 99% sure your issue is Java.
