I can launch tekkit, but it won't connect. Direct connect doesn't work either. Is the server just offline?

I launch Tekkit 1.0.6 and enter the IP on the first page, and it says it can't connect.

I'm looking forward to destroying everyone peaceful co-operation.

A simple Google Images search of those links yields odd results, such as YouTube videos spoken entirely in Thai and servers that are obsessed with ponies.

Also for when the server is up: IGN: Doomzzday01 Age: 16 Experience with Tekkit: I've played Tekkit Classic and Lite extensively, and Tekkitmain on a private server for a little while. I've only barely gotten into the new mods, but i know them well enough. I just haven't figured out applications for them all yet. How long have I been playing: A few months, perhaps, on Tekkitmain. What am I good at: Redstone logic, Computercraft programs, Buildcraft pipe systems/manufacturing, trade systems. Why do I think I would be a good addition to the server: I've always been looking for those servers that try for a good economy, and this one seems like it might have gotten it right. I'm good at getting economic systems going between players, and have always planned on making big businesses, but never got the chance.

This looks like a great server. Have you considered a Mojang site? Or is there already one? Edit: Updated to 1.1.3 or whatever it is and now the server's down... :(

I will need partners to learn, but I could function on my own too. -do you think that you understand my views about the difference between stupid grief and just fun pvp? Definitely. Nuking someones base (or filling it with bats)=fun trolling / pvp. Nuking constantly or deliberately causing lag = no fun.

Having trouble connecting, and what is this hamachi ID and pass? I don't know how to use them. Oh, and since many servers have different definitions of 'greifing' (from breaking a single block to filling someone's place with pigs) would you please clearly define 'greifing?' Voltz is pretty boring if you can't destroy blocks.

Local IP means connected to a single router, not geographic distance.

I wish these servers had a deadman switch or something, if no the owner doesn't come onto the thread after a certain time, the thread deactivates. That way one wouldn't have to sift through all these dead servers.

Oh, by the way, I consider myself fairly knowledgeable, but I don't have enough time on my hands to maintain a moderator position. I would happily make a tutorial area, however.

This looks like it could be a great server, but I've been wanting to test out some war techniques that involve, or facilitate, destruction of other player's buildings. It's not a remotely difficult technique to defend against, but I was basically wondering if 'poorly defended' includes 'players without shields or bombproofing.' To be clear, my attacks can be deterred with a mining laser or simple TNT. In addition, I hope to introduce a somewhat experimental gameplay technique not found on ANY other servers... it could be a great thing to advertise! If you want details, I'll give them to you in a conversation. I don't want to give it away to everyone .

Oh wait, nevermind, my stupid self neglected to notice that it plainly says that the server is offline on the site. By the way, the livemap is cool, it's nice being able to look around a bit beforehand when looking for a base location.

Hello, new (as in 5 minutes new) player, I'm having trouble logging on. I was on for a second or two, then it disconnected me, said End of Stream. I would like to play on this server, and was wondering if it's me, or the server, or what. Also, is it Latest 3.1.2 or Recommended 3.1.2?

Apparently I was mistaken the other day, Aero is back on the server from time to time. Congrats on XCOM sepheris, its a very fun game hope you enjoy it! Check out yogscast Rythian's (www.youtube.com/user/yogscastrythian) XCOM series too.

We need a better system than letting the nuker get away and making everyone (even the innocents) restart from scratch. By the way, in case you didn't know, Aero quit yesterday.

AHA! I knew wertel's nuke stacks wouldn't go unused! Just out of curiosity, who caused the nuking? Aero apparently said he did it (in a sign). I would also like to note that I never even made a nuke, and now I've lost my ENTIRE facility, including a fully functional forcefield. Excessive nuking is a perfectly justified reason for a map reset, but I can't help but feel put out about the items I spent so long making.
