    Yeah, that would take me about 2 minutes. It literally is just copy pasting code from the forge wiki, and changing a few values. Also, you don't need a packet handler. Another sign that you just copy pasted code.

    /facepalm If you can't master simple spelling and grammar, there is no way you'll be able to make a highly complex mod like Red Power. Also, I didn't say it wasn't updated, I said it wasn't publicly released. There are like 2 bugs left that need to be squashed, and then it will be released.

    Have you tried summoning the dark lord? You need to sacrifice a diamond encrusted dragon skull under the light of a full blue moon to do it. Seriously though, you've given us literally no useful information. Saying you have the "latest" java does not help. Tell us the exact version and bit type of your java. Same thing with your OS. Saying "windows" is not enough. There are like a million different versions of that crappy OS. We need to know which one you have. Also, we need to know what bit type your OS is. Finally, your description of your set up is not useful. Give us some screenshots, or accurate schematics. Just saying "It doesn't work" is not enough.

    Fixed that for you. As someone who has looked at the Minecraft source, I can tell you that it is a giant clusterfuck of spaghetti code and redundancies. It's terrible.

    It's impossible. You're asking for a method to prevent chunks from loading unless a specific player is near. You can't selectively load chunks. It's an all or nothing thing. Even if you could do it, you would have massive holes in the world extending into the void.

    I'd like to thank Soaryn for coming here and clearing up any misunderstanding there may have been. We all seem to be too quick to think the worst of Slowpoke and FTB, which is something that I find both amusing and sad.

    The reason java was chosen to write Minecraft in is because it is supported by almost every platform there is, meaning that it isn't locked to a specific platform. Plus, Java is awesome. How dare you say otherwise?
