Woops. Got the numbers off. So you're taking a loss on iron to make currency. Still doesn't explain why they need to be banned. Still doesn't explain why minecraft needs a currency system at all. The only real use for them is things like Towny plots...

What does that have to do with banning the ic2 coins? You seem to be trying to do a whole lot of work to ban something that's either going to be good for your server, or is going to be completely irrelevant.

Erm... I don't think you understand how money works. The coins are made of refined iron. 4 iron makes 16 coins, and 16 coins makes 4 iron so it's not out of balance. The value of the coins will be determined by the value of iron on your server, which indicates a general upwards trend in value of coins, since iron will grow more and more scarce as time goes on. On the other hand, if you institute something like iConomy, there won't be any reason to remove the ic2 coins, since they won't have value in trading with people who use iconomy.

I discourage use of transformer upgrades in tekkit, becasue someone can steal your upgrades, which will result in your machines blowing up. however, breaking actual transformer blocks is usually considered greifing.

To be entirely fair, i do enjoy the tech level he portrays quite a bit. There's something compelling to me about Axles and huge gears and chains and things like that. Maybe it's because it's a level of technology that my brain can understand, and i feel more comfortable constructing things with it... Flowerchild may be a dickbag (a bag of dicks) but i do sometimes wish we could have BTW working with technic. And not being broke as fuck.

You need to make sure you're using the same version of tekkit as your server is.
